This guy on NFL.com did a "redraft" of 2018 based on the success of the 2018 draft class in its rookie season.
Looks like Gettleman got three 1st round talents.
I wonder how Carter will rank once he's getting starter reps.
One of the best Giants drafts in a VERY long time. No debate there.

He has Hill and Hernandez getting drafted at the back end of round 1

Your comments don't match the redraft at all. The only thing he said about the Giants was that the Barkley pick will be debated for years. Did i miss something.

Heck, I think R.J. McIntosh could play too if they needed it.

That's correct. He has BJ Hill and Hernandez as being drafted in the 1st round. BJ Hill was a 3rd round selection. Tons of value in that pick.

I missed that. Ok, I stand corrected.

To be fair, Hernandez at 30 is only a few picks ahead of where we did take him. It's not quite like the Colts getting Leonard in the 2nd.
Hill on the other hand was an absolute steal in the 3rd.
Maybe DG isn't as awful as many on BBI claim.
Let's hope he can do as well this year with 12 picks.

In all honesty I'm guessing they leaned heavily on Shurmur for his assessment on Lauletta.
Lorenzo Carter’s development is at the top of my “watch list” this summer ... overall last year looks like 1 of the best drafts in a long, long time. I think Carter could be a force in this scheme - looking forward to how he’s unleashed this year.
Another haul like last year and this team is going to surprise a lot of people this year - especially with that soft schedule.
You have Lamar Jackson that high...uh, ok. And Kemoko Turay? No Braden Smith, no Christian Kirk, no Dallas Goedert, all who probably more deserving than Turay. Jordan Whitehead (4th round pick from Bucs) is more deserving than Turay, who admittedly still has some promise and potential.
But that's not to say that DG doesn't deserve some credit...my IDEAL scenario coming into the draft was to somehow come away with Saquon Barkley and Will Hernandez in the first two picks...and that happened. B.J. Hill was a tremendous pick, and I think Lo Carter was a good pick as well.
PICK 31: Dallas Goedert, TE
