We all know that there will be a bunch of trades in the first round, probably 10 or 12. Teams jockeying for players. Who you got moving? What players and picks are for sale?
I've got the Cards surprising pretty much everyone and trading out of the #1 pick. Cooler heads prevail and they decide to stick with Rosen. The Cards swap #1 to Chuckie for the #4 pick and get #24 and #35 as the rest of the deal.
The Cards can then start their rebuild the smart way. Two primo OL picks and a top tier DL or ER. Chuckie gets Murray to take to Vegas and wow the bettors and fill the seats.
Chuckie then gets a 3 from the Bengals for Carr, who in turn jettison Dalton when no market appears.
LJ Collier (DL / TCU) Parris Campbell (WR / Ohio State) Marquise Bell (DB / Utah) John Ursua (WR/ Hawaii) Juan Thornhill (DB / Virginia) Darwin Thompson (RB /Utah State) Derek Thomas (CB / Baylor) Jace Sternberger (TE / Texas A&M) Darnell Savage (DB / Maryland) Anthony Nelson (DE / Iowa) Scott Miller (WR / Bowling Green) Donnie Lewis (CB / Tulane) Demetrius Knox (OL / Ohio State) Phil Haynes (OL / Wake Forest) Jalen Harvey (DB / Arizona State) Chase Hansen (LB / Utah) Mike Edwards (DB / Kentucky) Chandler Cox (FB / Auburn)
Green Bay has 12 and 30, but without a QB need who knows.
Giants trade 42 to Cards for Rosen.
Giants go Edge/DL and LB with 6 and 17
Giants go OL with 73 and 96
Take Oliver/Sweat @ 6 and WR Hakeem Butler or AJ Brown late 1/early 2. Go all in on QB prospects that are actually worth it next year.
Use the extra 2020 draft capital (+2021 picks) for Fromm. Use the 2019 draft to beef up the defense. In 2020 you have a pretty good OL and a defense that’s been fortified for Mr. Fromm with a ton of salary cap to fill any needs that remain.
