NFT: Fantasy Baseball (DFS) Advice

I was new to DFS for Football this past year and it took me a couple weeks to figure out how to win.

Week 1 I came in dead last just picking players, week 2 I improved slightly, by week 4 I was competitive and I won 4 or 5 weeks throughout the season including the last two weeks of the season which were double entry fee. Not big $$$ here. $10 per week entry and there are at most 30 people in and it's winner take all.

So, what are the tips to fantasy baseball? My approach when I was successful in DFS football was stacking players from teams where I expected a high scoring game and seeking value (for example Chubb starting the week Hyde got traded already has his value set, and Damien Williams when Hunt was suspended already had his value set - and they don't get adjusted).

Any suggestions in baseball?

it's a set your lineup once for the week game.
never played in a DFS set your lineup once for the week...

but the same rules apply to baseball that you mentioned. You want to stack players from teams with high projected run totals. So teams going against bad pitchers, playing in hitting friendly parks, etc..

Value is a bit higher to find but you can look for platoon guys since there cost doesnt really vary pending if its a righty or lefty the team is facing, or guys who are hitting higher in the order then usual. Obviously the higher a guy hits the more likely he is to get more at bats and therefor more likely to score you points.

Baseball is hard cause pitchers cost so much so you either spend up on an ace and bargain shop or take your chance on a low cost pitcher and stack your bats. Again some of this might not apply as much to a set it for the week type league, ive never played in that so i dont know how a pitcher works. And platoon guys would be harder to use since the righty who kills lefty might not face more then one lefty in a week so.
