CC has been the stopper for NYY for quite a while now. His record in games following a loss is sterling - and we'll need another one from him tonight.
Forecast looks decent enough that we should be able to get the game in. Heavy stuff looks to be coming after midnight.
In other news, the Gio decision looms. Will we keep him? Will we not?
Some of the walking wounded appear to be on the way back. Sanchez should be first. I think he'll be activated for the WC trip starting Monday against LAA.
Hicks sounds like he's 100% - just needs to work his way back up. Figure 10-14 days or so.
Andujar did some swinging and throwing. He still says he feels good. The real test will be throwing across the diamond. But, perhaps we've not seen the last of Miggy this year yet. We'll see.
Tulo isn't ready yet, but I believe he'll be traveling with the team when they head to the west coast Sunday night.
Last night fucking sucked, let's get back on track.
Best believe Gardner is going to chirp at Judge about that lol.
Brilliant bottom of 4th, 2 one pitch outs. Junis throws 5 pitches?
#2 and counting!
"What arm strength." - David Cone
I hear ya. I could see going to Cessa if CC only went three or four but this was set up perfectly to go Kahnle, O, Britton, ( or Britton, O) and Chapman.

Nah, should be perfect for Cessa. 2 or 3 innings. I like him for up to 3 innings.
We'll take it.

If we needed a long man then yeah but tonight with the one inning guys rested, I would've felt more comfortable going that route.
He got out of the jam only giving up the one run but most of the time he just looks very hittable to me. Once again he looked that way as soon as he came in. Thankfully he worked his way out of it but I gotta admit, I wasn't feeling real confident there.

I thought they'd have him go 2 or 3 innings. So if he only goes 1 then I agree with you. Cessa has good stuff 1 time through the order..
Another run or two and I stay with Cessa another inning.
The only thing I can think of is Boone needed to get him some work.
It is a bit of a head scratcher for me though because he's really their long man but if he needed the work, I understand the move a little more.
Great work on the replay camera!

Yep and a real nice job by Gleyber holding the tag.

Yes, he was superb in holding the tag throughout.
I think he is swinging too hard.
DJ needs to put this game away.
Call it here.
Let's getith some healthly
Boy, Tyler Wade can play the field. Great glove and strong arm.
Was pleasantly surprised with Frazier's arm - 95 mph and accurate.
Had to get back on the winning track!
Nice W tonight fellas. Let’s get another one tomorrow.
Of course, with KC, we're not playing the very best of clubs. Let's hope it continues on the road trip west.

First, lets hope it continues this weekend.
The Big Fella is getting close to a couple of milestones.
A few years ago, didn't think CC would even last
this long myself.
