...don't know what to make of it.
Here is what they say about their approach to projecting who goes where:
"We are not working the phones, the Internet, or other ‘connections’ to ‘handicap’ the Draft. Nor do we have any hidden agenda. What we are attempting to do is to slot players based on our ratings, to teams where we feel they best fit."
As an aside, I think the "average" Giants fan would prefer a non-QB at #6 and #17 for the simple reason that they will probably contribute / start from Day One, whereas if they go QB it's sorta like a delayed gratification thing where the guy will have to sit for a year behind Eli.

...Deebo Samuel (South Carolina) is slated to go #19 to the Titans!
This guy is fearless.
...it's a full Seven-Round Mock!

At least to me, a mock is a prediction of what will happen.
No, you stopped reading well before that. The introduction explains that the draft is not based on what they’ve heard or gathering information from teams, but on team needs and their rankings of players. If you’d have read that, you’d understand why the draft fell the way it did.
I get that when building a consolidated mock you might lose track of one given team, but from a giants perspective it just does not make sense

Murray is going to the Cardinals, so the rest of this draft is bullshit.

No, I read that. No point of a draft like this. I read that, the non Murray pick and closed it. Waste of time looking at that garbage.l
The obvious problem with Haskins - Taylor - Ferguson (a somewhat plausible combination at 6 - 17 - 37, IMO, whether one likes it or not) is that the defense might not get any near-term help. Ferguson will be making a big leap in competition. Even if his game translates, he may need some time.
Came in to post something similar. If they aren’t taking qb at 6 if move down and try to get a few picks in that range. Need more 2nd/3rd round capital. With 12 picks you’d hope that they will be maneuvering around the board.
Tampa and the Raiders are both unknown right now and the talking heads are pulling straws and making "educated guess".
You can say the same with the Giants.
That's interesting because I think Fant has gotten overshadowed a bit too much by Hockenson. I don't think the differences are that wide.
