We all know the bad news already. No one's gonna feel bad for us, so... just gotta keep finding ways and hope some reinforcements start getting back before we run out of replacements.
Thairo Estrada was the corresponding move for Judge's transfer to the IL.
Pax was incredible last time out. Let's see if it carries over.
Happy Easter, boys.
Let's go, Yanks.
Now let's show the AL what this team is made of!
See y'all when I get back from Easter Lunch...
1. Brett Gardner (L) CF
2. Aaron Judge (R) RF
3. Giancarlo Stanton (R) LF
4. Luke Voit (R) DH
5. Miguel Andujar (R) 3B
6. Gary Sanchez (R) C
7. Greg Bird (L) 1B
8. Gleyber Torres (R) 2B
9. Troy Tulowitzki (R) SS
:(
Sanchez and Stanton are probably closest. Should see Sanchez activated for the WC trip.
Hicks is flying to Tampa today - rehab games, etc. He's healthy. Just needs to build up into every day game shape.
Tulo and Miggy are also going to Tampa and "making progress."
Stanton is "doing really well"
So, we will actually get some of these guys back. But losing Judge is crushing, man. Unbelievable the luck we've had.

Post had a quote from Stanton saying that he is still not 100% and won't start full swings until he is 100%....
IDK..
But, beyond Sanchez, his timeline is actually probably kind of close to Hicks'
I'd guess we see Gary back first (Wednesday)... then Hicks... then Stanton shortly after, then Tulo.
Miggy is up in the air, I guess.
Nah, it’s gotta just be a day off, right? Right?

I think this is actually just a legit R/R rest day for him. He'e been struggling pretty badly recently.
Having that 3 run HR count would have been nice... but we know how that went.
43 AB, .434 OPS, 13 K, 1 BB, 3 RBI, .178 OBP
Expect to hear about "setbacks" pretty much all year long...
Just in case, Boone did specifically say that it's just a day off for Gley - "nothing to worry about" - so, (I had the same paranoid thought too) - but it looks like he's fine.
I'd guess he'll pinch hit later in the game if it's close and we need a run.
He's got 17 RBIs already and his bat has been huge so far.
That pitch to Soler is almost always a strike. A touch low, but where was it at the front of the plate? Just got in, so don't know if they have been all that way.

But KC has been umped a bit today. Wide zone.

Just called that on Voit as well.
Better mics or quieter crowd? Can actually here the umpire sometimes.
They didn't show the side view on Voit - I thought he held up, but the umps have a good view.
6-5
Boone is not the smartest tool in the shed. He should never ever chance squandering a game with this line up.
If someone had told you this 1 month ago?
Let's win this.
