Far more of a chance they pick him at 6 than trade down to get him.
I wouldn't be so sure. JtGiants did say the Giants desperately wanted more picks in the 2nd and 3rd rounds, since they have nothing between 37 and 95, and think this is a deep draft.
And if you assume King hears things, maybe he's hearing what jt is talking about in regards to NYG getting another pick in between 37 and 95 which would be very smart.
Also, Jones at 17 is fine, but Jones at #23 after picking up another pick is way better.
Josh Allen falling to us at 6, and then Wilkins or Bush falling to us at 17. Then grab Risner in the 2nd round, trade our 3rd round pick to AZ for Rosen, and move back into the 3rd round by trading a few of our later picks and grab a DB like David Long or Trayvon Mullen.

Trade down elsewhere? Sure. But trade down and still pick a QB in the first round? I really doubt it. From what I've read of Gettlemen, if he likes Jones enough to pick him in the first, he won't "get cute" and move down 6 spots and still pick him. He'll just pick him at 17.
I could see a trade down, I guess, when he's trying to decide between picking an OL, DB, etc at 17, and he feels confident that there's a good choice still to be had at 23 and you can get picks. But not if you are trying to find a QB. If he likes one of these QBS enough to pick them in the first round, they won't get cute, IMO.
Once the "will they pick a QB in the first" question is answered then sure, I think they'd be open to moving around in the draft a lot. I still suspect they're more likely to move up than down.
Jets would trade out of #3 much more likely than select Oliver Â

Won't happen, but one can always dream...
Allen then Bush then OT/CB (making sure we get a CB in R3 somehow some way) is also my dream, while staying realistic, scenario.
Last year they leaked a ton of stuff about Baker Mayfield and wanting him and in the SI story after the draft pretty much chronicled how the Jets were all in on Darnold from pretty early in the process

Couldn’t agree more ... quite frankly, if they landed Allen and Bush round 1 I’d stop caring about the rest of the draft because it instantly becomes an a+
Risner in the 2nd is my top target as well ... and I’m starting to think Rosen May be available for cheaper than expected as AZ seems more desperate to blow smoke by the hour.
“There” being 17

Allen, Jones + 37-55-95 is terrific.

Take him in rd 2 you can cut bait earlier.
Let someone else take the risk.
The rumor is they want Oliver
