Not sure its the best idea throwing Matz right back out there against the Phillies. Oh well. LGM!
He had a great debut.
If we hit is another question.

It's a "K" type of start for Anthony Kay. Nine batters faced. Nine retired. SEVEN strikeouts!
2-0 Ponies, Top 4

Matz just got an out against the Phillies so he's already on a better start.
I am convinced he rather them take fastball down the middle early in the count with runners on then swing at it. Hes more worried at looking his notebook than watching the game.
Several for Matz today, and pitched out of trouble when needed as well...
Lineup would be filthy.
1.) Nimmo CF
2.) Alonso 1B
3.) Cano 2B
4.) Cespedes LF
5.) Conforto RF
6.) McNeil 3B
7.) Ramos C
8.) Lowrie SS
If they included him in that I would have been devastated. I honestly was losing my shit when it was even a possibility. When it went down to only Kelenic/Dunn it was like winning the lottery compared to what it almost was. wow.

Mets SS prospect Andres Gimenez was 2-for-6 with a double and three RBI tonight.
Now hitting .286 with .796 OPS on the season for Double-A Binghamton.
I now respect Mickey more...
One more time?
So defensively you like d'Arnaud, Nido, Ramos, Mesoraco? Not a lot of great back stops out there.

Ramos drops. It's mind boggling.

I just cant believe how bad Ramos has been defensively. It's been laughable. I thought he would at least be average. It's been a joke. And yes TDA and Nido are better defensively. Especially now that TDA has his arm back and repaired. But we have Ramos in the lineup for his bat. Im anxiously awaiting his first hot streak. We are just going to have to live with him riffing on 1 out of every 4 pitches. lol
