Responding to a good amount of fans and “haters”...he said “ I gave them everything I had bruh bruh errr Sunday . Just put some respect on my name that’s all I’m sayin! I ain’t sayin nothin, n trust me I got a LOTTTTT of info that people don’t kno about so, so keep my name outcha mouth the way I do yalls ! Ya diggg“
Constantly talking about how happy he is where he landed (is he tho?) and acting as if he’s gonna take the high road, yet continues with his passive aggressive remarks. Listen, I still wanted #13 here, and hated that we gave him up, but this is something I do not miss. Wondering when he’s gonna be all in his feelings and trying to figure out his hidden messages. Good Luck OBJ.
It had to do with banks and financial institutions not lending monies for areas/properties that carried too much risk. Sure that lead to some discrimination.
One can also say, they might have be saving someone from themselves.
Here is what I tell my kids.....
if you are looking for discrimination, you can always find it. If you do not let anything stop you, nothing will.
It reminds me of the ratings scene from Private Parts
Kenny: How could this be?
Researcher: Answer most commonly given: "I want to see what he'll say next."
Kenny: : All right, fine. But what about the people who hate Stern?
Researcher: Good point. The average Stern hater listens for two and a half hours a day.
Kenny: : But... if they hate him, why do they listen?
Researcher: Most common answer: "I want to see what he'll say next."

Yeah, he’d be better off not engaging, but the OP and narrative that this represents OBJ ranting isn’t quite accurate - he’s defending himself, and I didn’t see him putting down anyone in response.
He’s a weird guy, no doubt, but I honestly don’t think he’s a bad guy, as others have said. Being emotional, insecure, and seeking attention then being uncomfortable when he gets it make for these kind of awkward situations...but the NFL has had far worse than OBJ amongst its ranks.
As for the trade, I’m fine with it bc we need to rebuild, but I don’t necessarily think DG’s comments were about OBJ directly as much as the collection of guys he shipped out.
Time to move on, for us and for him.
I wish him well. He has amazing talent, a joy to watch.

Shocking.
Of course it is. I saw an over turned dump truck on the Beltway yesterday, everybody was looking at that.....
Lol at the "good riddance" crowd. I don't even mind that he's gone for larger, cultural reasons. The locker room needed new leadership and a new identity. A purging of the guard that was in place. But that sentiment has absolutely nothing to do with what the kid is tweeting.
Looking forward to seeing Gettlemen proved to be a genius this upcoming year. Seriously, it would be hilarious. I'm not buying it, but would love to see it. Sick of Giants football seasons over before Halloween.

Nothing would be sweeter than nailing this draft again with 2-3 top prospects on defense, getting back to running the ball at will, and getting into the playoffs at 9-7 for 1 more Eli playoff run.
Gimme Wilkins, Bush/Burns, Risner top 3 and this team can win those games they blew last year
But, I think they're facing a challenge of growing up in a much more difficult world than I did. Social media, 24x7 news, the massive focus on image, and the insane amount of money made by celebrities all create different types of pressure and stress.
He may be an insane athlete but all this shows he’s a big whiny bitch. He had it all. Put the phone down and grow up.

It's interesting. If you didn't live before the internet and social media, you just can't really understand, truly understand, what it's like to live without those things.
They are not just two different ballparks, they are different galaxies. I feel both fortunate and cursed that I lived in a time where I grew up completely devoid of the internet and everything that came with it. It is impossible for anybody born after, including my kids, to ever understand what that was like.
A turningpoint in human history. It has rewired the way the human brain develops. For better or worse, TBD I guess....

That I can agree with. This is where the proliferation of safe spaces really comes from. People want to live in this fishbowl and can't handle any the negatives that come with it, some people may disagree with what you are putting out there. I'm in my early 30s and this insecurity seems to run rampant among those younger than me and even some in my age group.
Your OBJ, why the fuck do you care what people have to say about you. One of the most exciting players in the NFL worth 100 million. If that is me, I'm smiling all day and saying people are entitled to their opinion. I think that is why most of us still love LT, even with his failures as a human being. People that have rock solid security in themselves tend to be more likeable than those that come off like Odell here.

You can't help it, you were born into it. That's just my take on it.
More often than not, the image isn't reality, either. It's just how you want to be perceived.
It's like some people I know. I know the reality of their lives, but if you were to look at their social media feeds, you'd think they were living the life of luxury with no worries, super well adjusted kids and marriages, and not a care in the world. Daily life is not like that.
Social media isn't real life.

I can understand it. Millenials are getting blamed for everything when they are just reacting to the world, culture and parenting style provided for them.
No one ever caveats their snark towards millenials
The hate that Tiki got for his comments should be multiplied by 100 with this crap. If they ever put his name in the ROH, that would be messed up.
But I personally would define them as the first generation that either came of age, or were brought up, during the rise of the internet.
"Oh what has this buffoon done now?"
I was born in 81, so depending on what site you see out there, I am the beginning of the millennial generation. Even if you were born a few years after.
I get what you are saying though, the other end of the generation (mid 90's), never know what life was without internet.

Yeah, I was born in 76. Graduated HS in 94. Internet wasn't a thing, but by the end of college it was. It happened fast.
So glad Odell has chosen the Tiki route vs the Stratham route, enjoy Cleveland you overrated little punk
its one thing to say (which i agree with to some extent)-- the giants needed to go in a different direction and as constructed it wasnt working... another to say they got good value if one believes that, and the locker room needed shake up as he is a polarizing guy on a bad team... which is a bad combo.
its another to just start saying the good riddance as if the guy wasnt (ex barkley now) the only reason to turn on a giants game since he arrived. and the main reason offensively why the team even saw a playoff game... which he then totally botched

Among the league leaders in drops since 2016, always hurt, never shuts up, childish antics, off field distractions, and was absolutely terrible in the biggest game of his career.
He was fun to watch, his highlights are fun too ... but good riddance. Barkley became the best player on the team as soon as he was drafted - and he’s actually likable on top of it.
That's why he's gone.
Shocking- shocking
Fan base takes shots at player after he leaves (and after he got hurt 2 years in a row on plays having nothing to do with his “ability to stay healthy”- shocking
Fan base to claim “I told you so” when bad team naturally becomes better because the only direction is up (and they drafted well) shocking
Fan base worships championship players of past who are legit scum bags and bad people- but obsessed over player who is social media obsessed hurting zero people. Shocking
Apologist speak. That's the way it works- you win, you get praised. You don't, and you act like OB does, you get crushed. Rightfully so. TO act like he's not at fault in all of this is bs

which BTW was the season that the franchise literally imploded. from coaching, to management... everywhere. he was NOT playing during this period of implosion. uninvolved... team and coaching just sucking along becoming a national embarrassment during Geno gate. But somehow... mysteriously... now that he is gone.... its just a massive good riddance from people.

This. The moment I truly viewed Barkley as the franchise player was when he broke off a long run early in the season for a TD. Beckham comes running down to try to get Barkley to participate in some stupid dance and Barkley shrugged him off. He shrugged him off because we were still losing the game.
Agree. Actually think it was a decent call to part with him too early than too late. But I don’t wish him poorly at all. He was fun to watch. But I am wary of WRs once they start getting leg injuries. Hopefully, Peppers thrives and DG nails this draft.
Most millennials are single, never mind kids. The latest stat I saw had their marriage rate around 30%.

Gettleman: Not anymore..
BUUURRRN!!!
But we all know OBJ is easily set off and this is just an example.
everyone knows there was a culture problem on the giants. hell, beckham probably knew it. getting rid of hart, apple, flowers, et al. were part of addressing that. OBJ was traded much later on and may or may not have been directly related to the culture problem. beckham should stop acting butthurt about it. best revenge is living well or some shit like that.
Yes. If you read between the lines, he's admitting he's an asshole.
Both need to do less talking and more putting up this year.
PS. The “millennial” thing is tired. Older generations have always been insufferable with their yelling at clouds. At least with the Greatest Generation and some that preceded it, they left the younger generations better off than they were. Can’t say the same about the Boomers and jury is out on the Xers.
Yeah, those Boomers certainly did a magnificent job with that whole marriage thing.
Just go on with your life and concentrate on your new team you bloviating diva.
