So yesterday Antonio Bryant tweeted the following:
@AB89x
Heard from people inside the Cardinals organization that Nick Bosa is #1 on their board and that they are going to stick with Josh Rosen at QB |
Most in the media took it with a grain of salt. But this morning Bryant doubled down on his prediction with the following:
@AB89x
I'm telling you I trust my source. This ain't no smokescreen...The Cardinals are going to draft Nick Bosa 1st overall...Just wait on it & #128175; |
Throw this in with what Pete Prisco said and maybe there is some truth to the fact that the Cards go with Bosa at #1 overall. If that's the case, would BBI want the Giants to go make a move for Murray? In the right scheme, he and Saquon could be insane together and would be entertaining as hell. I'd be on board.
Haskins or Jones for me, Lock I could be persuaded but the more I read the less I like him.

Why do you like Jones more than Lock?
I think it's the Antonio Bryant that went to PITT and played for Dallas years back.
Maybe he just didnt want to go to WAS. Again i can think of a QB pretty close to home who must also have been an entitled SOB who could decide who he didnt want to visit or play for.

Raiders WR? That Antonio Bryant?

LOL. Yeah, you're right. I'm getting Antonio Brown & Antonio Bryant confused. I'm becoming my old man with 'Bobby Bonds' when referring to Barry.
Also if Oakland does take him, I'd trade our #37 for Carr. He's relatively young, mobile, and had some really good years. He's a 2 time All-Pro player. His 2016 year was really good, when Oakland was still a so-so team. Even last year he was ok in the face of complete crap surrounding him.

Or Antonio Brown and Martavis Bryant!
No he cut off visits with Washington because he doesn't want to waste his time or Washington's time. That's not being a punk. Jesus Christ.
More importantly... do they now have to re-shoot their promo video?
83 catches, 1248 yards, 7 scores.
And then 2009 was his last year in the NFL.
People aren't kidding when they say that "NFL" stands for Not For Long...

How do you repair the damage you have done with the relationship with Rosen?
More importantly... do they now have to re-shoot their promo video?
They already did.

Lol I made the same mistake until you got corrected. Glad I got here later :)
That's what always brings me back when I entertain the idea that the Cards are just blowing smoke. How do they play footsie with Murray for 3-4 months and then turn around to go back to your their young QB after? Why would you be so reckless with your 2nd year QBs confidence if keeping him was realistically on the table? This is the Cardinals we're talking about but it just doesn't add up.
You just pull him aside and say they were trying to get max trade value for the pick, it was the plan all along and they had to do keep him in the dark to make it look legit.

Jets could get a truckload of picks.
Personally I would trade soft Andy Dalton Darnold and take Murray.
How would it be hard to "repair" their relationship? Hey Josh, we were never taking Murray we were trying to get a kings ransom for the 1st pick in a trade down so we can get you more weapons and offensive lineman.
That said ... to me he's clearly the best QB in this draft by a long shot. I'd run to the podium at #6 to take him. But I'm not trading up.
He's a franchise QB worthy of the spot.
No brainer.
...Kyler Murray is going #1 to the Cards.
...if this is actually true (this is dubious at best)

Could be worse, he could have his Dad tell the team that drafts him he won't play for them.
Seriously doubt that

SOB with an entitled attitude. He cut off visits with Washington because he’s a punk like Deon. I have no interest in the midget who’s one hit away from baseball.

Shhh, Archie might see this
I believe nothing in the headlines pre-draft

Bosa is a 1st Team All Pro the minute he arrives. Gold jacket
Seriously doubt that
The limited amount of snaps Bosa got in his Ohio St career is glaring. Not to mention the possible conflict in the locker room with his love for Trump and liking posts made my people who use the N-word and like to gay bash.
Big reason why 49ers are considering passing on him at #2 with how liberal SF is.

Well, as a former resident of the area, there's a lot wrong with that in 2019.

Then that is pretty damn sad
When can we require BBI members to take the wonderlic test?
No he is not. Most scouts have him rated lower than his brother
Also if Oakland does take him, I'd trade our #37 for Carr. ...
Nobody in the organization said they were taking Murray, It has been only speculation by the sports media so I'm sure Rosen will not been upset with the Cards...
Mike Vick would be a stud in today's NFL with today's offensive coordinators and their offenses. Would have no problem with that.

I would go after some next year picks to set us for next year QB's...

He wouldn't be any more durable today than he was when he played. He also was very inaccurate.
It's not like Vick played in the 80's. He retired less than 5 years ago.

Fair but I'm talking more about Mike Vick in his prime. And you're right about his inability to protect himself from injury. But if that Vick played in today's NFL, I feel like he would be a stud. Imagine having him in an RPO or West Coast offense. If he could stay healthy he'd be incredible.
Right now, he is "committed" to football but that could change with his first injury or after a little frustration not being able to read defenses.
So, you have to throw that into the equation when calculating his "value" as a draft pick.
You've been hanging with him lately?
Are you for real or are you trolling? You can't be this dumb.
1 of the greatest athletes I’ve ever seen. Scumbag, but incredible football player
