-Incredible shot and series performance from Lillard. Easy guy to root for too.
- Brutal series for OKC. Will major changes come there?
-The Nets got completely embarrassed last night. When Embiid is healthy, the Sixers are just loaded with talent. Will be interesting to see if the Nets match a max offer for Russell.
- The Lakers have Pelinka and Kurt Rambis running their coaching search. They have become a complete laughingstock. The only reason Rambis is involved is because his wife is good friends with Jeannie Buss. The Lakers and Buss deserve serious criticism and its remarkable that Pelinka gets to keep his job.
- Luke Walton in serious trouble. Will he lose the Kings job over these allegations?
- 3 weeks until the draft lottery. That will be a crazy night for Knicks fans...
Despite sexy stats, Westbrook is so inefficient and such a tough guy to play with. He really hurts his team on both sides of the floor.
2nd round series; all of them !! look awesome
I'm not sure there is much OKC can do to improve the team.
Damian Lillard is the most underrated player in the NBA
Nets still have a great culture
The final 4 in the East will be very interesting, I like the Celtics to emerge.
Lebron will be fine once the Lakers get the first pick and trade for Anthony Davis. However, I have heard he wants to reunite with Pat Riley, either with the Lakers or the Heat.
Lakers interviewed Jason Kidd, and I hope he gets the job. He'd take the Lakers' current dysfunction to a brand new level, as drama follows him around.
so far stephen a has said lakers, knicks, nets and now clippers
The semis are going to be awesome...
Cs vs. Bucks.
76ers vs. Raps.
Dubs vs. Rockets.
Nuggets (in all likelihood) vs. Blazers.

Nets have a nice "Little Engine that could" culture but they're still a 2nd class organization with the worst fan base in the NBA with slim prospects of landing major FAs. Russell finally played well (in a contract year) and I'm sure I trust that guy once he signs a major $ deal.

Maybe it happens, but if you are Durant what is the reason to leave Golden State for the Clippers? The Knicks stuff I can buy into for 2 reasons:
1. By all accounts he is thinking life after basketball and being in NY aligns with a lot with his business and investment opportunities.
2. Being the guy that brought a title to NY defines his legacy.
What is the point in signing with the Clippers unless he is looking to get into entertainment a la Lebron? If that isn't the case then at that point you might as well just stay in San Francisco.
Can you blame him?
I don't see any scenario where Durant goes to the Clippers. It's GS or the Knicks.
hes the worst person to be the boss of. this is a fact.
no franchise has enough infrastructure to sustain his absurdity- just miami with 3 prime all stars
this isnhow i feel, i wanted to root for the nets but the kissing of the nets ass was nauseating all season, team finished below 500 and was blown out in 3 out of the 5 games...

and I was rooting for them to upset Philly, but I was really turned off by the way the media propped them up all year to indirectly bash the Knicks. It was mildly irritating during the season, but the tipping point for me was the Sean Marks incident after Game 4. An NBA executive gets suspended for a playoff game after rushing into the officials' locker room to confront them - a total bush league move - and the media gives him a complete pass because they spent all season kissing his ass. Some even lauded him for "sticking up for his team." I know it's sour grapes, but if a Knicks executive did that Isola would be tweeting about it for months. Hell, if any player did that he'd be suspended several games.

in summary-- knicks fans who claim to not care about the nets care about the nets
Getting old sucks in a lot of ways but I was lucky enough to be a Knick fan when they owned NY. Willis, Rolls Royce backcourt days. Today's Knicks are just sad. It's been 2 decades since they've mattered.

when did i claim not to care? i actually watched a lot of the nets this year...
but the kissing of the nets ass was annoying all season...
and lrts be honest if a couple of those restricted players marks tried to sign were not matched they would be in cap hell

have the knicks sucked? absolutely but to claim they are irrelevant is laughable, they had the second highest attendance revenue rate in the entire nba, worst team in the league and still sold out
sean marks is the new golden child of the nba, imagine if a knick executive did that?
better yet imagine if dolan did that?
it was the media that annoyed me

hitdog it is all good man, i would love for both teams to get a marguee free agent, 2012 when both teams were decent the games were awesome...
i grew up going to nets games 3rd row behind the visiting teams bench...
the nets are in great shape. i have zero stress about the team and where its going. they have picks and cap space, and crabbe will come off as Dlo goes on.
there good players all can get a lot better as well.
its not a homerun but zero stress on outlook
Rose
Lavine
Zion
Lauri
Carter
Not a lick of defense will be played, but man will they be fun on offense.
& do you want to pay big $ to Kemba? Jimmy Buckets?
Harris would be a good fit, but I don't think he leaves Philly.

technically 43-44 but that is fair inshould of said postseason included...
and again i am not hating on the nets, i thjnk what they have done is awesome but the media kissing their ass to rip the knicks was tiresome

Harris makes the kost sense but i think pjilly lets butler walk and resigns harris

Anything but a second class organization because it directly mirrors the Spurs model. They have a top flight practice facility, they have a soon to be Chinese majority owner who can promise a boatload of $$$ in the Chinese market, a top 5-7 GM, and a good coach. The Nets go so far as ensuring these guys families are well situated at all times during games. They are well run. Kenny struggled to make the proper adjustments in the playoff, but his players gush over him.
And i'm not being cocky and saying they land KD and Kawhi because my gut tells me it won't happen. But that is not necessarily on the Nets. Lets be real. Its a perfect situation for a star to come in, you have proven young talent around you but it would still be your team. Sometimes you can do everything right and still get fucked over, and thats what i see happening to the Nets.

Brooklyn? KD? Kawhi? I don't see either of 'em. Kyrie? Doubtful.

I think you're right, makes more sense to keep Harris and try to fill out a better bench.
