A woman named Pat in VA called in this morning after Papa and Weiss were kind of panning Snyder based off the recent rumours of "taking over the first round" and his penchant for meddling and making the wrong moves, the dirth of success for the team since he's been owner (1999),etc.
The woman said that Snyder ought to stand pat and let the draft come to them at 15, they have tons of needs, look how the RGIII experiment turned out, and then made some great points about players that could help them if they just wait it out. She sounded like she really knew what she was talking about and really knew football.
Weiss commented, "Wait a minute, you're using logic, making sound arguments, and a great case for what they should do. That was a very logical point, but the guy just doesn't THINK that way. He's emotional and wants to run things his way."
Lol...they're really taking Snyder to the woodshed!
He’s very honest. If he knows anything and was taken into confidence do you really expect him to betray that?
Yeah that point came up too, Tony...Papa said that at least Dallas has had several successful seasons with double digit wins...he quipped that maybe Snyder should call Jones for some pointers, lol.
Ding, ding.

Papa will be honest about the team he covers too!

I’ve never heard Papa and especially Dottino he critical of management. Maybe I’ve missed it with Papa but they both come off as shills.
They were bad for years even before Snyder joined on. Since their '91 Championship they've been the only team in the NFL without a 11 win season. (unless you count the new Browns differently than the old - technically they own the old Browns' records).
That's not really saying much as the Giants have been a bad football team the past two years.
True, but when's the last time they've been to a super bowl.
Or what I use to call the Bill Pidto game on ESPN Primetime highlights.
Boomer would kick it over to the Judge after doing the Raiders-Chargers.
"Saints - Falcons"...
True but presumably we got rid of our problem - there is no end in sight for the Redskins problem (Snyder).
They look to me like a 3 win team in 2019.
Which tells me: teams should be trying to pry away from them next year's #1, because it's going to be a top 2 pick in the 2020 draft.

but the Redskins have finished AHEAD of the Giants the past two years in the NFC East.

Really? Our problem was a future HOF WR? We might not have Dan Snyder on our hands, but Mara is running this team so as to not hurt Eli’s feelings. He ran a fake GM search to replace Reese. You could argue both are incompetent, just in different ways.
Fuck me with a jagged stick at the stupidity.

Reese, Ross and McAdoo were the fundamental problems. I wasnt even thinking of OBJ.
The Cowboys have won the NFC East 3 times the last 6 years and our a playoff contender again in 2019.
Plus he is the all time great marketing owner in the NFL. No one comes close to him in that regard.
