Because he doesn't fit the "power running" profile. He's not a good inline blocker. Personally, I think that would be counter-productive, but that's just me. I'd rather see Engram paired with a TE other than Ellison, Simonson, or Dickerson.
However, that same asshat also said that the Giants were interested in Kahale Warring, and if they traded Engram and drafted Warring I could live with it.
Also, if they did trade Engram, my guess is they'd make WR a higher priority in the draft.
We have no CB’s. Are we going to go all rookies and scrubs at that position? Same with Ogletree, he calls the plays for the defensive front 7. You need some kind of veteran presence on the team.
Too even think of player that someone else would want that we could afford to let go. Jenkins and Engram are the only ones and I think we could get more for Engram. I would say Shepard but what could we get for him at his salary?
(I kid...i kid...)
I thought he was pretty good down the stretch last year when Beckham went down. Came up with some big plays.
Engram needs to stay, and be utilized appropriately, as he is a “weapon”.

Engram needs a big year, yes... But I wouldnt trade him.

Jenkins is set to receive a salary of $10,150,000 in both 2019 and 2020.

With his measurable you would think he's you 50/50 receiver rebounding and snatching throws. I think I've seen more from Cody Latimer in his regard.
No you haven't. That's just ridiculous.
