offense that runs the ball and wears the opponent down by the fourth quarter, has a strong defense against run and pass with great pass rush and stopping the run and secondary. We will also have a qb who is accurate and can when the occasion called for it can throw an NFL pass down the field.
Look for the draft to reflect this and you will understand why we are going to draft defense that fits our board, offensive lineman as backups, perhaps a safety for secondary, and not a qb, nor trade for one.
Stop the qb bs here.

Ummmm.... no.

Hope all is well, I am worried about our team, but I think DG will produce a competitive, enjoyable to watch winner. But there will be no thrills ala OBJ at too great a cost nor great running college qbs.

If people would stop buying into cliched BS and realize the best run offenses still make the playoffs every year, you’d worry less about DG’s plan
Rankings don't tell the entire story. The entire league simply runs less than it used to.
The Patriots were 3rd in attempts and 5th in yardage this year, but their 478 rushes would have ranked 9th 20 years ago and their 2037 yards would have ranked 10th. 30 years ago, it would have been 15th and 11th. 40 years ago? 27th and 19th.
Are you referring to Eli? Because he is not going to be around forever. When Eli is gone, where do you propose we are we going to get a QB who is accurate and can throw an NFL pass when occasion calls for it if not the draft?
Screw it, let's just draft Josh Jacobs and run a 2 RB wildcat every single play and see what happens.

I don’t see why that matters. What matters is current stats and trends and regardless of how often you run, running well makes games easier to control. The eta simply doesn’t matter.
I also don’t understand the sheer hatred of this strategy. We aren’t ditching the passing game. We are trying to win the TOP battle and be able to wear teams out, all of which makes it easier for the next QB to be successful.
How many teams are successfully able to do what the Rams (run heavy I might add) and Chiefs are doing when moving from vet QBs?
Thank God!
