I guess I don't know much about Rosen, but if we can get him cheap then lets try it. But there should be a reason why AZ is moving on from him so soon, seems strange.

After Saquon last year would be a win. Plus the defensive help we can add this year as well

17 and a 4th rounder this year and a 2nd next year for peterson and rosen and there 3 this year

Because the new coach of the Cardinals uses the Air Raid offensive system and Kyler Murray will be better at that system.

Rosen had a terrible year, even given that he was on his back for most of it. Goff had a similarly rookie year. I think Rosen’s our best option this year if he’s cheap in terms of 2019 picks.

Cardinals (perhaps inadvertently) signaled that they aren't getting good offers. Giants can claim they're just as interested in the QBs this year to drive the price down. As soon as the Cards draft Murray, Rosen's price goes down.

No need to cave and offer a 1. If this doesn't work out, we turn to the 2020 QBs.

For me, I don’t want him at any price except possibly a throwaway late rounder. We will rue the day unless we are still prepared to go all in on 2020 regardless of Rosen or not. I’m telling you, he’s a short timer CTE retiree in waiting. Can’t pin our plans and hopes on him.

I don't tgink that has anything to do with it. If they were offered a first they would have taken it, but they haven't.

I've read the most they've been offered is a 3rd. Can't see them jumping all the way to 6 if that is true.

I didn't mean to imply that a first was offered. But rather, Arizona holding and dragging this out for a first is not happening.
