Never heard of an old fashioned with rum. I must try it once but i inagibe it may be too sweet. Which bourbon do you prefer when you drink a traditipnal of?

The barrel aging takes some of the sweetness out of the rum IMO.
I prefer rye over bourbon and my favorite rye is Old West Double Rye.
If I’m making Manhattans or Old Fashioneds with bourbon I like Basil Hayden.
I dont like bourbon but the EW 1783 is far better than their other products
