The Giants have talked with teams about trying to move back into the first round, per source. Well see if they can make it happen. Have 10 picks remaining.
Is one of the biggest drops from where he was expected to go prior to this time last year to now. I mean, this guy was talked about as the potential #1 overall pick.
He has not done himself any favors. So much talk about his teammates/coaches not really endorsing him or believing in him as a leader. And then he says he'd rather go 32 than really early to a bad team. Well, he might not go as early 32 anymore. He might not go in the top 50!
Something I would not have guessed going into this draft. But earlier today I said I wouldn't want him after what he said, and saying I couldn't imagine Baker or Darnold saying that last year.
Anyhow, a lot of value at the DB position now. And WR. A.J. Brown still on the board as well. Dalton Risner. Lots of good players still.
wow. We gave up three picks just to move up seven spots for Baker. What are we doing?
Do you have the picks?
I didn't think they'd take that many players with as many picks as they had going into the draft. But it seems the likelihood of getting a very similar player 7 picks later I think is very high.
RE: I would have went Byron Murphy - CB/Washington
The Giants had three first round picks in the same year -- with excellent chances to start next year (with Jones delayed a little, if he's what the pick says he is).
That crack anyone else up or is there something wrong with me?

interviews yet -- that i may be a sign they are trying to trade back into the 1rst round
Or maybe they don't want to face all the questions about how they drafted a QB they prolly coulda had at 37 with the 6th overall pick?
They'll probably act outraged that people would dare question them.

I didn't think he'd get by Denver.

My guess: Ferguson.
or Corner
I was almost expecting Lonnie Johnson or Rock Ya-Sin if they went corner.
Anyone have the trade details?

Sy,
Is there an injury concern on Murphy at all?
