What’s the home run pick at 37 that could ...

I'll tell you at the end of Round 1

I would say Montez Sweat would be it

If you could come out with Jones, Lawrence and Sweat that would be great. If you told someone we would take Sweat at 6, Lawrence at 17 and Jones at 37 I don't think many would argue.
Byron Murphy

Agreed, but I wonder if Sweat is off their board.
Sweat or Taylor if they're somehow there
illmatic : 4/25/2019 10:52 pm : link
Other than that, one of the top CBs or WRs like Murphy or Brown.
I honestly don't think there is a pick for me
Tim in Eternal Blue : 4/25/2019 10:52 pm : link
The Jones pick was so egregious that this draft is ruined for me.

Murphy or Baker if either falls is real good return.
I won't tease myself wishing Sweat falls
flycatcher : 4/25/2019 10:54 pm : link
and then having hopes dashed when DG takes an RB or something.
Agree with
Jay in Toronto : 4/25/2019 10:56 pm : link
Jawan Taylor, if I can only pick one.

That would really solidify the OL,

If Halapio disappoints, we can always draft Biadasz next year. :)

No. He looks the part, but doesn't play the part. His fundamentals are doo-doo. Think the Koundijo kid who came out of Alabama. He looked like Tarzan, but got whipped by JR Collins head to head all night. Collins didn't even end up as an Arena League starter.
The problem with the Jones pick
George : 4/25/2019 11:10 pm : link
is that it puts us playing catch up for the rest of the draft on players we actually need to contribute in 2019.

We need an OT, C, Edge, and LB in the worst of ways, not to mention a CB, S, and WR. There wasn't much room for error, and I think we did at 6.

At 37, I think we need to trade down to collect a pick we spent on Jones. Then go OL or Edge.

Damn, I wanted Josh Allen.
There is still stuff left...
Amtoft : 4/25/2019 11:12 pm : link
Sweat, Taylor, DeAndre Baker, Byron Murphy, Greedy Williams, Dalton Risner, and then of course AJ Brown or N'Keal Harry!
Allen, Lawrence would’ve been my picks
GothamGiants : 4/25/2019 11:13 pm : link
Followed by Risner or trade up for Jawaan Taylor with some extra midrounders back into round 1. That’s a playoff push draft if you really want to “win now”

On the bright side, at least management realizes Eli is done
