Go look at QBs drafted year by year..::: the fallout is staggering—- I remember when RG3 was the best player you ever saw
If the Giants really drafted a Franchise QB and two impact defensive starters in the first round, then it will be an historically good draft.... epic
If Jones is not the guy, they will keep drafting.
The real question still revolves around Barkley—- they drafted a ready to win player onto a shambles of a roster. They are on the clock with Barkley.... it’s a 3-5 year window when it’s anything at all
One more thing..... He passed on Rosen TWICE..... and He is said to have liked Rosen better than the other QBs last year—- who knows? He also passed on Lock and Haskins, and others.
I can’t guess at whether he would have struck on Mayfield or Murray... and Maybe he didn’t love Darnold
That Means he LOVES Daniel Jones... out of all those guys- and he made sure that He got him.
What I could see as a Fan would have led Me to believe that we Drafted the Least Physically Talented of the Three....and we don;t get to see some of the Hidden Physical Talent such as Field of Vison and Visual Accuity.
Nothing I've seen in the last 10-15 years has me in wonderment about Eli's sheer Physical Skills---not His Legs...Not His Arm,...NOTHING. Rivers and Ben are still more impressive, and I could very easily name at least a dozen more QB's who are massively more imprssive from a "Fan View"----and some of those guys are not or were not Good NFL QB's.
I don't see Impressive Throws from Daniel Jones on the Film I've seen...and I firmly believe that you need to be able to ASSUME IMPRESSIVE THROWS as an entry point for an NFL QB.
Eli never sheerly impressed me by watching him throw the Ball...at all---until He madxe 4th Quarter completions for Victories. Or when He Dropped A 40 Yard ball into a Shot Glass to Lead a Super Bowl Win.
They got trhe Guy THE Want....I didn't like the Accorsi trade for Eli's Rights.
I've learned to be Patient
Can’t tell if serious?
