Haskins has really thin skin

He said “the league done messed up” and talked about having a chip on his shoulder.

I mean - you are a first round pick and you are whining about ‘falling’ and being the 3rd QB taken?

I wonder how he’ll do when the Washington Post sports columnists turn on him when he has a bad game.

Rosen reacted similarly last year.

I guess the sentiment doesn’t bug me - they believe in themselves and thought they were better than QB’s drafted ahead of them.

That said, just shut up about it.

I thought Rosen did himself no favors last year with his comments and Haskins isn’t doing himself any here.

and he really wanted the Giants to take him. I think the ceiling is a lot higher with Jones though, as he can run, and he can make all of the throws. I think Haskins definitely has a right to be upset but he should prove it in his play.

I also saw somewhere that he's going to ask Joe Theismann about taking his #7. That's ballsy!

Haskins has a far better arm than Jones. Jones arm is average at best, and he's got a Eli like flutter to it, not a lot of tight spirals.

But, I hope he fails in Washington.

Now the Giants have to deal with the Jets and Darnold and whether he turns into a top QB as well as the skins and Haskins.

Lots of comparisons down the road.

but ESPN had a 23 second video of Haskins smirking when the Jones pick was announced. Not opining on that one way or the other, just that there’s video on it. Fwiw

I’d realize that playing for the team I rooted for as a kid may not happen. And I wouldn’t be surly about it with the media.

Haskins has a “far better arm” when he has all day to decide which nfl WR he’d like to throw to .... Jones is the better, more complete prospect. His arm is also ridiculously underrated, not “special” but nowhere near average or a liability like some want to say it is.

So glad Haskins isn’t a Giant - I see nothing special whatsoever with him. I don’t care about his stats
