He's a tweener so it's tough. I mean he's yet to homer and is a CO. I'm not a huge fan but hard to argue he's off to a nice start. Just not really sure what the tool is that makes him a prospect. Doesn't walk a ton, not much power. Sounds like I'm crapping on the kid but it's more like he's hard to project much for. For example... Sam Haggerty isn't some big prospect but can play all over the field, good eye, speed... I see his path far more clearly.
Gibbons

might be a big leaguer. BA liked him a few years ago. Off and on injured. Stuff is "okay" but plays up with good command.

Casey Coleman is a career minor leaguer and is 32 in July. Not sure what someone could possibly mean by upside other than "could see CitiField because of depth issues". He's pitched 177.2 major league innings with a 5.72 era. Soft-tosser, was in Indy Ball for a bit. Could he see time with the Mets? Sure. Upside? None.

I can't help but thinking of the days of Kirk Nieuwenhuis and Matt den Dekker with Brodey. SWR's development is intriguing. I hope the new regime takes more like him versus the Ryley Gilliam's of the world.
Almost missed this
Metnut : 4/26/2019 10:03 am : link
with all the draft threads.

Even if I don't post on these all the time, I've appreciated you doing this for years. Probably not as fun for you when the farm is a little thin like this year.

Can you tell me a little more about SWR (to start, what's his full name lol), and Gibbons?
Toffey walks more than Nimmo did and I didn't think that was possible
Eric on Li : 4/26/2019 10:04 am : link
what a weird player. Not sure if walking can be a carrying skill, but maybe he can develop another tool.

Simeon Woods-Richardson. Was one of the youngest players in the 2018 Draft. A bit polarizing because it seemed that some days he looked like a 1st Rounder and others he looked like a player who would be better off spending three years in college. Also some concern that he ends up as a reliever due to frame, secondary offerings but so far he has proven to be up to the challenge of once to twice through an order despite being much younger and less physically mature than the hitters he is going against.

Just to add to what Mike said. MASSIVE upside but very raw. Impressive what he's doing so far but secondaries still need work. With Szapucki's health still an issue/concern I don't see a SP prospect close to SWR in terms of upside (I like Junior Santos) however.
