Gettleman's 3 objectives for a football team

Well to start,,,he dies not want our RB hit behind the line of scrimmage. Time will tell,

Running the ball by adding Barkley and Hernandez and has solidified it more with Zeitler.

This year he is addressing stopping the run with Lawrence

It appears that next year will be more addressing putting pressure on the QB.

That's why he says, 'Rome wasn't built in 1 day'.

As previously stated, this is a 3 year build.

1. Always tuck your shirt in and wear a suit
2. Must be clean shaven
3. Always say yes sir and hold the door for the women folks

1. Run the ball. Check. He has significantly upgraded our line and has a generational talent at running back.

Our starting RT and C could not be back ups on most teams

2. Stop the run. Expected check. We will have a very stout front 3 in Hill, Lawrence and Tomlinson. I'd like a better ILB than Goodson but he is better against the run than the pass.

Its a passing league and we could find a two down run stuffer in round 4

3. Rush the passer. Woefully incomplete. We don't have an above average pass rusher at this point and is currently the archiles heal on the team. I expect to keep Jenkins and with Beal/Baker that is a good trio. Our safeties improved so I think Bechter will be more comfortable with more blitz packages than last year.

We have no DE or LB that can pressure QB

The team is a work in progress. Anybody who expected differently when Gettleman was hired, was fooling themselves.

There is no such thing as building a team in NFL anymore. There is only RIGHT NOW. And right now this is a 4 win team

We now have a QB who can also run the ball
