Says Shurmur told her that he told Eli "It's your job to keep this guy off the field."
She asked if he was challenging Eli. He told her that he wouldn't characterize it that way and backtracked.
Jones then questions taking a 2 down DT at 17.
Weird that Benningo is getting really hot with Kim, yelling at her.
Kim also points out that Lawrence only had 4 sacks in 2+ years and points out that Gettleman blamed that on a foot injury. Kim questions why take a 340 pound guy with the same foot injury that ended Hakeem Nicks's career.
This guy is going to be a monster - and a big reason why they can pull off an upset in dallas week 1.
I'm listening st work and this is exactly what I said
10 vs 9.5

Hes 340, and he came off the field for pass rushing specialists. It's not exactly a hard assumption to make.
Her attachment to Beckham has been bizarre, quite honestly.
It's totally out of character for her.
Said he absolutely isn't a 2 down player and can play the 1, 3 and 5 techniques. He coached him for 4 years.....
This we agree on. If Lawrence comparison is Snacks...isn't that a great thing? He's also much more athletic and a better prospect than Snacks. Seems to have the same motor as well.
She says, why not just say it's the Giants model, because that's how they did it with Eli.
Basically, she doesn't like say KC because it puts too much pressure on Jones because it compares him to Mahomes.
He’s more than a two down DT. He’ll still be used in a lot of the pass rush sub packages to help disrupt and get blitzing lanes opened up.
It’s clear to me that, some people didn’t really watch Clemson’s defense closely enough and just stick to generalizations on Lawrence and the fact he’s a big DT.

She’s right. Mahomes has more talent in his little toes than Jones does in his entirety.
Is that supposed to comfort NYG fans skeptical of Jones?

Jones over Haskins
Is that supposed to comfort NYG fans skeptical of Jones?
No but it helps squash the dumb thought Jones would definitely be there at 17

Nope, just looking to piss you off.
I’m you need comfort about a sports team, seek help.
Says Eli is a professional of course and will handle it well.
G’s attitude is going to wear thin fast if it hasn’t already. Condescension and arrogance are only tolerable in winners.
Not to mention that a foot or leg injury has different repercussions for a WR than a DL. I like Kim, but this was an odd take.
Her attachment to Beckham has been bizarre, quite honestly.
It's totally out of character for her.
Their twitter interaction after his trade to CLE was cringe-worthy. Bizarre indeed.
I'm guessing she's still pissed at that comment.
"Giants have to find Eli's replacement in this years draft".
The Giants did that. Now they are all slamming on the Giants for doing it.
i would've been fine with lawrence at 6 ... glad hes a giant
Kim's interview was nearly cringe worthy, and I love Kim's insight. She, better than any other National reporter, should know that this team has holes across the board. Forget her analysis of the Jones pick, her bashing of the Dexter Lawrence pick was way off base. She can't see the need for a big run stuffer on this team? I'm glad Beningo took her to task.
I still think it’s a reach for that position, It it goes w the rest of the absolutely bizarre and potentially disastrous draft
This. I m sure this soured her on him. She has earned her stripes as an NFL journalist, that was patronizing.
Don't discount Hill paired up with Dex. Hill had 5.5 sacks last season.
Didn't OBJ have a screw in his ankle?
I love our DL now.
This. I think OBJ must have given her the pipe on a few occasions.

Aside from Brian Kelly, what college coach doesn't gush about their players?

Now I’m concerned based on that foot injury nugget.
Didn't OBJ have a screw in his ankle?
And perhaps one loose in his head.
Can't just assume that based on an entire team result that one guy is significantly more important than the other.
Women in their 60's call me "dear", "honey", etc. pretty regularly at work... I've yet to slap or publicly shame any of them.
