When all is said and done, Rosen is still a Cardinal. Were the Cards really trying to deal him or were they just jerking everybody around ? The two teams that needed a QB now have a QB which makes Rosen even harder to deal. It makes me think they never really wanted to deal him.
Do we really have the right to call other teams dumb though?
AZ's options are going to get worse and worse until next year, where they *might* get something after the top QBs are off the board.
I really don’t care what the 95% here think who know about as much as I do when it comes to evaluating players....not much.
I would rather put my trust in our GM, our coach, and our scouts instead.
Welcome about Mr Jones!

All it takes is one starting QB to get injured and Rosen could become an intriguing option for someone.
I think THEY think Jone's Eli-like demeanor will be better suited to NY and the media more than Rosen's outspoken personality.
Instead they were playing games.
If they don't deal him today they are even bigger dopes!
Jones has a lot of positives, but he's still a crapshoot. Rosen is an NFL tested QB with a huge upside. Still a crapshoot, but much less of one. I know DG and CS are saying Jones was their guy all along, but what do you expect them to say ? If they could have traded #17 for Rosen but chose to draft Jones with #6 they're fools. But I don't think they ever had the opportunity. Either the Cards stupidly overplayed their hand or for some incomprehensible reason they want to keep him

has now, besides the obvious they didn't get anything this year is that now those QB needy teams might just be banking on next year's QB class and how much those guys might rate against Rosen.

And they'd be the sole bidder. And they'd be bidding on a guy who hasn't played in "insert time since last start".

It's a moot point now, but I did predict yesterday that they'd get at least a 2nd round pick even after picking Murray, and they did.
