We’ll never know. But ... Ewing? lol
I’m not completely serious. Just talking here at BeezHouse this afternoon about how fired up/nervous we are, about what it means, the potential impact, etc.
Knicks get the No. 1 pick - in other words, Zion - it certainly sets the stage for some seriously exciting stuff centering on New York.
Conversation here was spurred by talk of the largest fan bases in the NBA. Lakers are said to be No. 1 based on (albeit microcosmic) Facebook follows. Knicks are 11th. Add Durant, another top-tier FA, Zion or even a top-three draft pick?
Just how well is the NBA set up for a potential cash cow with a revamped Knicks?
In any event, Tuesday!!! Let’s go!!! Ewing!!!
Lot of good that'll do...I want #1. Not #3 and not #2.
Yes, ping pong balls I believe still exist, tho I don't recall if they show it on TV?
Top 3 have the same 14% chance for #1
As the worst record, we can only drop as far as 5th, for which we have like a 48% chance, while the remaining 52% is spread among the 1st 4 picks
2nd worst record can go as low as 6, and so on
Correct. If the Knicks win, it was just the odds. If the Knicks don't win, we call "shenanigans"
and i am starting to feel like the whole kd to knicks thing was all hype...

2nd pick gives us highest probability for Anthony Davis. 1st pick could mean we just keep Zion. 2nd pick highest value at that spot is clearly Morant yet we likely get Kyrie with KD so he becomes somewhat redundant. Pels probably have Ja and Zion a tier above everyone else and then maybe Barrett and then another drop from there to Culver and maybe Hunter.
2nd pick probably gives both sides high enough mutual motivation to make a deal.
Why the NBA can’t fix the Zion Williamson draft lottery - ( New Window )
I'm almost expecting it.
Beginning tomorrow night it is (in all likelihood) someone like Culver, KD, Kyrie.
Then it will become Culver, KD, Kemba.
Then Culver, Kemba, Butler.
Then just Culver and Butler.
Then next season the Knicks finish ninth in the East and the cycle begins anew.
People. POSITIVE VIBES! Let's get this done! We NEED a good team for a change. The management seems to be better, for several reasons. The coach is potentially terrific. We have a lot of potential positives coming the Knicks' way.
POSITIVE ENERGY, people!
Right now the NBA might be looking at LeBron ending his career on shit Lakers teams sitting out the playoffs the next 3 years in the West.
Meanwhile, the Knicks have sucked for so long, why would anyone care if it's 5 or more years at this point?
...go absolutely wrong for the Knicks.
