BREAKING: Judge grants Robert Kraft's motion to suppress video evidence in his solicitation of prostitution case. State may appeal, but this devastates their case against him.
Handjobs? Butt play? The guys is an old ass man whose wife died. Going after him seems more about making a name for the people going after him than anything else. If there was underage women or something else horrible going on like human trafficking then I get it. But if the guy was just paying for a handy then leave the guy alone.

LOL...SO the sympathy should be for the old white rich guy not the woman who is being sex trafficked...Okie dokie
Yup, that is why the place was being investigated.

I said if there was human trafficking then that is different. I guess you missed that part.
...
“The Court finds that the search warrant does not contain required minimization guidelines, and that minimization techniques employed in this case did not satisfy constitutional requirements,” Hanser wrote in his order, granting Kraft’s motion to suppress the video evidence.

Seriously though, people should look into this a bit more before dismissing this as a just a guy getting a rub n tug. It’s amazing how many of these people, and the politicians (Ds and Rs alike) they employ are involved in creepy sex trafficking.
Zero evidence of any trafficking...

Here's the thing, whenever you have immigrants brought here from a foreign country a short time prior that end up working in the sex trade your not going to get the victim to open up about anything (due to many issues such as relatives at risk and a lack of speaking English). These women came from China to Flushing, NY and then were piped down to Florida to work the sex trade. They have to pay for their immigration
Shouldn't the clients not accused of solicitation be charged along with the solicitation ones?

Interesting point, but the difference is one's illegal the other is not

How did they get their "Comeuppance" when he unequivocally committed a crime?

yeah, not only old and rich, but white...Okie dokie.
Radar Online will get it first...
It's a bad look when your local law enforcement is exposed for using unconstitutional methods to entrap old men getting happy endings from 50-year old women. And then they tried to extort a guilty plea out of him by threatening to let the video go public. There is nothing to see here, both literally and figuratively!

“It’s an act of desperation by the State Attorney Dave Aronberg,” Burck (Kraft's lawyer) added in a statement to PFT. “They know what they filed is false and misleading to the court but they did it anyway because they are desperate. That’s because they want to deflect attention away from their illegal and unconstitutional methods in investigating and prosecuting this case. They first falsely accused Robert Kraft of being involved with human trafficking and then had to back off. Now they are falsely accusing the defense lawyers of lying to the court. It’s pathetic."

First of all, a judge signed off on the original search warrant. If the judge failed to include or verify that minimal legal requirements were included in the warrant it's on him.
Secondly, this is not even close to entrapment. Not even in the same zip code. Entrapment occurs when a person is coerced to commit an act he would not ordinarily commit.
Kraft entered the massage establishment of his own volition to get the aforementioned hand job and did not have any contact whatsoever with the police before the handy. Nor did he know the police were monitoring the establishment.
He came, he paid, he came.

I'm not a lawyer, nor have I played one on TV, so I don't want to debate the legal definition of entrapment (and I wasn't talking about the video, I was talking about the traffic stop), but I'll pass along what Florio (who is a lawyer) had to say...
The goofy (yes, I’m editorializing) effort by prosecutors to seek a finding that Kraft’s lawyers be held in contempt of court for their questioning of the officer who made the traffic stop has led to the disclosure of comments made by that officer when stopping another suspect on the same day Kraft was stopped.
When the officer asked on his radio, “Anybody got anything better than pulling out of that plaza?” to justify making the stop of the other suspect, whose stop came just before Kraft’s, another officer said that the other suspect had driven “like an angel” after leaving the plaza. At that point, the officer who made the stop of the other suspect said, “Alright I’ll come up with something when I tell him.”
In other words, the officer who pulled over the car in which Kraft was riding after leaving the spa had expressed an intention to fabricate a reason for stopping another suspect ensnared in the same solicitation trap on the very same day.
The prosecutors complain in the contempt motion that Kraft’s lawyers had questioned the officer during a recent hearing as to whether he had vowed to “make some sh-t up,” a distinction without a difference regarding the admission the officer made (apart from the profanity). Kraft’s lawyers explain in their 15-page opposition to the contempt motion that they weren’t aware of the exact quote because the prosecution had failed to surrender the body cam footage, despite being properly asked to do so. Kraft’s lawyers used the differently-worded phrase because they relied on information from the lawyer for the other suspect, who had seen and heard the body cam footage in that case.
I do want TMZ to release the video for the lulz.
The complaint alleges that the police department had obtained “overwhelming evidence that certain masseuses were engaging in low-level prostitution” well before commencing the “sneak and peek” operation, making video surveillance of all customers (including those getting massages without sexual activity) unnecessary. The complaint also alleges that the video generated by the surveillance operation has become, essentially, leverage in the broader effort to obtain plea deals from persons charged with soliciting prostitution, with the potential public release of the videos exacerbating the violation of the privacy rights of persons who received massages and nothing more.
In other words, this lawsuit contends that the effort to end alleged prostitution at the Orchids of Asia day spa went way too far, resulting in video surveillance of individuals who did nothing other than secure a massage. Now, those videos may end up being publicly released, especially since Florida law has sweeping requirements for public disclosure of material generated by police officers in the performance of their duties.
It’s an important angle to what has become a hotly contested criminal case. Kraft’s efforts to expose the failure of the police to follow proper practices has shed light on the potential privacy violations endured by those who were doing nothing that could remotely be characterized as a violation of the law. If the “sneak and peek” operation hadn’t ensnared a defendant with the resources and motivation to fight, these surveillance practices of private citizens may have continued without the kind of scrutiny they are now receiving.
Basically, the police thought they’d landed a big fish in Kraft. As this fight continues, it’s becoming more and more clear that the cops may need a bigger boat.

A classic bbi exchange. “I don’t like what you wrote, so I will make a counter point, and it will be laced with personal insult. “. Lol
So this was to either embarrass a friend and supporter of Trump or to show that this DOJ doesnt play favorites. just my opinion
Goodell could probably use a good handjob himself.....
Then it's the cover up. His "denial" lolol. How about "i went to the massage parlor for a rub and tug, I needed a release. I know it was illegal, i apologize and I won't do it again" did we get that?? noo we got actually denial that he did anything wrong...even though it may not be morally wrong it is certainly not allowed by law. Just another instance of why the Patriots are cheating, lying, cover it up at all costs cunts. Brady is getting an extra ..oh i don't know 20-40 million a year by kraft investing into his TB12 bullshit. All that organization does is cheat. I would have loved for this to go public just for the embarrasment it would cause and the ridicule he would receive. I have friends that do it, I tried it and paid for it but in the middle realized this was not for me. I have 0 problem with it, believe me im not the one to tell ya whats wrong and whats right. Live and let live as long as your a good parent and person. However its a perfect of example of another Patriot lie and proclamantion of innocence when they are clearly guilty.
I hate the pats almost as much as I hate the Eagles, Boys and Skins.
