I believe SB, if healthy, will have a monster season,
It is crucial that we have a base offense TE who is a good blocker, rather than slightly better than average (I believe this describes RE). If you have a TE who can effectively seal the end of the line, some of SB"s wide runs are going for big yardage and points.
So good blocker - does SS qualify, have I undervalued RE?
Haven't watched much of SS yet.

Really was Ellison that bad?
You'll see Engram lineup inline, slot, and outside, IMO, with Tate and Shepard getting the majority of the snaps in those formations, and either Ellison or Simonson also on the field mostly on the line.
Simonson is a good blocker. I don't expect him to get more snaps than Ellison, though.
It's crazy how this keeps coming up as if it's a valid opinion.
Receptions/Targets and YPC...dont recall YAC, sorry...
He's OK. He gets paid a lot of money. I thought he would at least be a very good blocker. He's not. Period.

I think you need to watch more tape on him when Saquon is running the football. He pushes his man back, washes him out of the play, often. It's not debatable by anyone who watches actual film.

While I don’t think he’s worth his contract, he is an excellent run blocker
This TD/cut back lane may have not happened without him dominating the LB
#85 - ( New Window )
Could be a designed cutback, like a counter?
Shepard vs Landon Collins gonna be some thumping going on next year.
I am in your camp and even created a thread to discuss this but many here disagree
