Guy has not played in a game since Saturday due to rain outs and can’t play two games today with a off day tomorrow lol

recognize
My schedule says Yes for both
Anyone have any faith that Severino will be back this season and pitching well?
What about your opinions of Judge and Stanton? Anyone remember when Stanton was always injured, early in his career?
This is now the second year in a row that Judge has had a significant injury. Sure he was hit by a pitch last season, it can't be prevented, I agree completely with that, yet here we are.
I guess you all must be beaming with confidence over Andujar's injury, another DL stint should straighten this right out.
If you are like me you have no concern at all over Hicks, this is just a back injury, and he just got his long term contract, so he should be ready to roll, no concern at all.
Of coarse I am being sarcastic, I am concerned and frustrated as a Yankee fan about them all. Is it me that feels even more concerned when I see players being rested at times I feel it is pathetic to do so? Why are we going out of our way to rest players constantly, it never ends, every game there is someone, the A lineup is never used, because we are always resting someone. I know this is all me, but it all concerns me, I never seen these things with the Jeter teams, or with the Munson teams, Mantle wanted to kill himself before he would be taken out of a lineup, at least when you see that type of attitude it makes you feel like the players are all in. Like I said, I am a dinosaur.

Is Boone resting him or did he injure himself again gazing at his own reflection in the gym ??

I just sometimes wonder how dumb fans can get. The guy is coming off a long injury with a back and you want him to play a double header his first games back. Man, oh man.

Meredith just said Hicks is playing game 2 today!

I hear ya Paul. In the old world you were expected to actually play every day and play hurt to help your team. Those days are over. Todays players are juicing and live in the gym to add even more muscle mass/bulk. Their frames are maxed out and most of the injuries are weight training related and not baseball injuries. Rarely will anyone play more than 140 games now. It is ironic that being unnaturally stronger and bigger makes you even more susceptible to injury. But that is baseball today.

You’re better off ignoring assclowns like Mike Graves, averagejoe and prdave. They simply aren’t very bright and make us all worse off for having to read their bullshit.
Yeah cause a guy like Stanton with a career .905 OPS is not needed at all. Ignore that he helped carry this team last year after the Judge injury and this team would not have made the playoffs last year without him.
I see the fan dumb is strong today.
If opinions you don't agree with offend you don't read them. And then maybe go have a good cry.
You are right. A couple of WTF posts that are truly annoying.
?
Posada was a total butcher though. No way the Yankees were winning any WS titles with defense like that at catcher.
Steaming hot to now ice cold. And it is not like he's being blown away. He's just missing pitches.
3-3
Signing Happ over Corbin didn't make sense at the time....and looks like a horrific decision now.
Who could have guessed that a 36 year old pitcher overly reliant on his FB could go south so quickly?
A few million? What $7 mill per season.
Through 1995, he was. After that? Not so much.

I'm going to think...."We could have had Corbin for a few million more per year."
A few million? What $7 mill per season.
And an extra 4 years...
As Torres hits another HR. Cheapie this time only 350 ft.

It's 3 more years, as Happy signed a 3 year deal. Plus Corbin has an enormous amount of deferred money....present day value is probably around $20 million year vs. $17million for Happ.
