I don’t think Ginn would really be able to beat him, but what do I know. Ginn is a football player, that kid is an Olympic hopeful. Ginn really comes out in win-win in my mind. He loses nobody really expected him to beat this kid, he wins and he is faster than anyone thought. The better question is what will the NCAA do to “white lightning” if he wins $10,000 in a bet?
He's a grown man (and claims he's run a 4.22 forty). If lets some high school kid beat him, that can't be good for his bravado.
Ginn would get destroyed and he knows it. Ginn ran a 4.38 at the combine in his prime. He didn't get faster at 34. His track records are a little dubious given his hyperbole about his career. He claims to have beat Usain Bolt in a relay race but the source of that is Ted Ginn. No one can find actual evidence of it. I have seen an 10.2 and less impressive and more likely 10.5 100m times listed for Ginn. Whatever the case that was like 15 years ago.
Meanwhile Bowling just ran a high school record 10.13. That was be the 36th fastest time in the world this year. His best is a 9.98 which would be the 7th best time this year. This kid is a serious Olympic hopeful and would easily beat Ginn.
He wins... he is fast
He loses...he gave the kid a shot
As long as he does it with grace he wins
Still, I don't think this is what he had in mind. If he doesn't accept the challenge, does he embarrass himself ?

Hey Manny
No disrespect but what does being a grown man have to do with it?
That Bowling kid is faster than any NFL player not named McCourty og Tyreek Hill. (Imo)
This kid probably beats him easily.
Don't worry. I'm sure some sports association will find a way to spoil the fun and stop the race.
This made me chuckle. Is that wrong???
This kid probably beats him easily.
"Probably"? A high school kid in his physical prime with freakish speed against a man in his 30s?
Ginn is going to get smoked!

Yup.
Carl Lewis ran his fastest time in his 30s.

A guy who was really fat in his 20s but then lost the weight in his 30s. Like Jared

In 1991 he had his peak year at 30 and would never win another 100m or 200m race after that. So after 30 he not be the same sprinter.
