Sam Beal tips a pass from Eli Manning that is picked by Jabril Peppers on 4th down in a two-minute drill that opened 11v11s in OTA1.
Loving the Beal stuff especially. Thats huge. Getting quality 2nd CB play opposite Jenkins could be the single biggest improvement needed from last year. Other things too are important but this IMO was the most important of all of them . Between Beal and Baker hopefully one if not both rise up and play at least steady as eseentially first year players.
are VERY high on him. Met them at pre-season mixed practice last year. I was saying initially start him in the slot let him get his feet wet ... they were like no he'll start on the outside once healed .... was certain of it. Said he was good person teammate and player. They were bringing their PAL league kids to the game and practice.
Although converting to TE seems unrealistic, there is no harm in letting him try. He's fifth string according to Eric's depth chart. He does not need the QB reps right now.
