Yup, he's been playing almost every day with all the injuries, and being his usual gritty self (great AB and baserunning to start last night's rally in the 9th), but he's due for a few days off.

Obviously he's having a great season but one concern is the pitches/innings count.

Nah they deserve it. We’ve all had times of frustration with guys not playing well, but some in the anti-Gary crowd took it to an absurd level.
Of course most of them haven’t shown their hide in a while, but I’m sure they’ll chime in the next time he has a passed ball
