and I'm conflicted. I think the story is tired at this point, and it's been botched so much that I don't really have any interest. BUT, nostalgia + better action (you'd think given the director) and I'm somewhat interested.

The CGI doesn't look good, which is weird considering how great it was in T2.

Strange cgi looks wrose 30 years later, but T2 was a flawless masterpiece.

I didn't know Steven Tyler was in it.

but after watching the trailer I'm at best skeptical. Terminator 2 is the greatest action movie of all time and the CGI still looks better than this.

And at this point why even mess with Guns anymore. Also a battle on the high way is so overdone at this point they try to ramp it up and do it in jumbo jets.

Arnold is alive in this trailer and Sean Conner is dead.

However in other Terminator movies it has been said that the future is inevitable, and Skyrim is destine to happen no matter what.

is an identical copy from the original film, so it's established that there are multiple examples of the model.

As to whar happens in 3 and beyond, this movie ignores all of that apparently.

Why they are after this young woman and not John Conner is anyone's guess.

I was more optimistic before seeing this trailer.

Yes but the Arnold from T2 who grows found of the Sarah and John melted away. It's possible that it's just another T2 from the past.

Could be another model from the past that has aged. Or even an aged model sent directly to their current time although one from the past seems more likely.
