The return of the middle screen

I believe screen passes of all types are employed prolifically.

And we should have an OL that can block well for them.

And point out he's bad at short passes, when he has at certain points been very good at it. I think there's an art to when to call a screen, depending on what the D is doing, and that falls on the coaches.

I remember how effective Dallas was running screens in the Roger Staubach era. I thought at the time that part of the reason why the play worked so well was that the D never seemed to get a good shot at Staubach, and was always frustrated. (Well, the Giants D, anyway). So when the pass rushers got some penetration, they'd be like "FINALLY" and sprint after him, and then boom, screen pass. Which fed more frustration.

Giants-Cowboys games in the 70s were very frustrating.

There are guys who ran with more power and elusiveness ... and guys who were probably faster. There are guys who had great agility ... guys who could stop, spin, and start on a dime. There are other guys who had great vision and see holes and lanes that are not even there ... at the time they are running towards that direction.

But, from what I have seen so far - nobody that I ever watched has ever been great in every category. Nobody has ever had the combination of all these gifts/skills like SB.

I knew it.... he is related to the terminator. Do you think he shape shifts? Maybe that is why they cannot tackle him? for 2 seconds - he wears the opposing team's uniform?
