Went to Indy last year and it was a weekend I will never forget. Have been to Charlotte twice for the 600. Would love to go to Monaco.

F1 race was follow the leader as usual. Indy 500 was amazing. I’m a Penske fan so happy with Simon’s win. Root for the 22 every week in NASCAR, so go Joey!
I watch the Daytona

And watched when Dale Jr had an Elvis themed car that the bastard smashed up.

Other than that I don't watch.

People call it a three hour left turn.
It is.much more than that.
Much more than I could understand.

Lots of money and talent involved for sure.
Lewis did a great job...

holding off Max while saving his tires. He showed his patience and track smarts. He has matured into one of the all time greats. I had been hoping some of that maturity had rubbed off on Odell when they met last year, but apparently not. Also, a great win in memory of Niki Lauda!
Hamilton

did a masterful job of holding that lead. His tires were GONE at the end of the race. There were some shots when he got out of the car at the end that showed the front tires and they looked like he was driving over a cheese grater for the entire race. Love him or hate him, the guy is an all time great. Amazing job by him and nice that Mercedes won today with Lauda passing this week.

Getting to Monaco before I die is definitely on the bucket list.
For my bucket list...

Monaco GP and, a few weeks later, 24 Hours Of Le Mans. Been on my list since the mid 1960's. Someday...
Auto racing, of all kinds, is immensely different...

in person. It just doesn’t translate well to television. You can’t get a sense of the speed on TV. And it’s all about the sounds and smells too. It fantastic in person.
Indy

is one of my favorite events every year. I will admit, until I met my wife and was dragged to the Indy 500 20 yrs ago, I was similarly cynical about watching cars going around in a circle. However, once you watch 33 cars go screaming by you at 225+ MPH into a 90 degree corner, you will be converted for life!

Great race this year with cars able to run close and make passes, even deep into the stint. Congrats to Pagenaud, he dominated the month of May! Hoping the new protective shield next year does not ruin the racing and looking forward to the Texas race in 2 weeks!
Sorry “F2” was typo of course.

My son and I are going to the next race in Montreal in two weeks. Hopefully Ferrari puts up more of a fight.
Went to my first Indy 500
