NFT: Anyone else not feeling well?

tbonfig : 6/10/2019 3:38 pm
Woke up Sunday morning feeling like I was hit by a truck. Body aches and fatigue and tons of stomach and gas pains. Spent most of the day resting with no really energy.

Woke up today and felt slightly better in the beginning but that quickly ended. I now feel exhausted again and my stomach still doesn’t feel right. Had a little bit of the big D one time today but mostly it has been just stomach discomfort and pain with lots of fatigue

Curious if there is some weird bug going around.
My stomach has been off since yesterday afternoon

Bummer man. You're probably gonna die.

I mean, at some point. Down the road. Not from this. Probably not, anyway. Take some pepto and the afternoon off. Maybe ponder the brevity of existence, hug your children and such.
Honestly

I had the exact same thing last weekend, I woke up a little groggy then had chills, fever, upset stomach and it was gone in a day.

I took it to mean diarrhea.
That is how it always starts

Then you wake up the next day craving human flesh and brains. Might want to see the doc!

Damn
tbonfig : 6/10/2019 4:32 pm : link
How long did it last for those that had the same symptoms?

And I've realized in my old age what a baby I really am. I feel like I will never feel well again and that I can't even fathom how people just walk down the street or go running around the block. JFC.

PJ - yeah big D = diarrhea, ha.
I just finished a rack of baby backs

Only slightly less risky than a helicopter ride
I’ve been bed ridden for the
dep026 : 6/10/2019 5:32 pm : link
The last 6 weeks for 18-20 hours a day.
I had an attack on my liver that doctors first thought was cancer.
My entire body itches like crazy and I got scars/marks on my entire body from itching.
It’s very painful being out in the sun but also from taking a shower.
My appetite has been surpressed so much that I am eating 2x a day just to take pills.
I’ve lost 45 pounds in a month.

But other than that, I am doing just fine.
My mom felt like absolute shit a few weeks ago
Canton : 6/10/2019 5:57 pm : link
Fatigue, constant diahrea, and vomiting. Found out she was dehydrated and was having kidney failure. If she waited another day to goto the hospital, she wouldn't be with us today. After hydration, Her kidney function improved.

Dep, that sounds awful. Wishing you a full recovery from whatever struck you. Doctor's have a handle on things I hope!

Shingles??
I think I had a minor case of heat stroke yesterday
jgambrosio : 6/10/2019 7:37 pm : link
Mowed the lawn in the morning and had a killer headache all day after that. Heat down here in Florida has been brutal, finally getting some rain though.
My liver attack was two fold
dep026 : 6/10/2019 7:48 pm : link
I took amoxicillin for an ear infection about 2 months ago. I was one of the less than 1% (even smaller than that) where amoxicillin took to my liver and did some work to it. Once they biopsed my liver, they determined I also had an auto immune disorder called Primary Scolorosing Cholongitis. It’s an attack on not only my liver but also my bile ducts. Combining these two symptoms, a couple of my blood levels have sky rocketed. I am completely jaundice with yellow eye balls and an itching that is out of control.

It should go away in a few months. But I’m constantly tired with an appetite that was about 1/10th of what it was. A lot of foods I loved to eat before this, I can’t even stomach to look at. The autoimmune disorder will be something I’ll have forever and if my blood levels rise to even higher levels, liver transplant will be needed.

But the jaundice and itching will hopefully be gone by summer.
