Live in St. Louis and they both climbed joyfully on the bandwagon this playoffs. St. Louis as a city deserved this. It has (city and county) taken quite a few hits, many self-inflicted admittedly, and it's nice to see some smiles on their citizens' faces.

The Blues historically have actually been quite a successful franchise but could never get over the hump. Winning 16 postseason games takes more than a little luck. This year, they had that. Oh, and a goalie who stood on his head. That was the key.

Didn't the Con Smyth go to the goalie Binnington???? He was the difference thru the playoffs and in the SCF. IMO he was robbed. Ask any Bruin or their fans who made the difference in this series and my bet is on the rookie goalie.
