Does anyone know when players entering the supplemental draft will be announced? Wonder if anyone intriguing enters this year.

amazing, the supplemental draft began in 1977 (41 total drafts) 44 total players taken in that time.

Good to see you Dan! Missed you during MLB Draft and the different philosophy of the Mets this year.

LB from Syracuse. Great kid and unbelievable story. Didn't make the grades to return to school for his last year. Special teams ace.

choice would be to trade a pick for a veteran rather than give up a choice for a rookie.
There doesn't appear to be any players this year

worthy of a pick. Last year was rare with two players being selected. The last time two players were selected was 2010.

The best players selected over the past 20 years have been LB Ahmad Brooks, OT Jared Gaither, Terrell Pryor, and Josh Gordon.

Why is that? It's essentially getting one of next year's picks about 10 months early. I get that the downside is that the pick comes after OTAs and minicamp, so the rookie is behind the curve on all that learning.
