That disease actually makes the family suffer more than the person that is afflicted. Terrible, terrible disease.

I will always remember his words, This one is for John (John Elway)..

Classy guy and great NFL owner.
Pat Bowlen has been beloved out here...

Saw him at a restaurant on NYE one year (before he left the public eye) and the whole room lit up when he and his family arrived. He seemed to be one of the good guy owners that had respect from all the others. He was responsible for the growth to prominence of the Broncos, and was the "glue" to keeping them successful and pointed in the right direction.

He was also responsible for support of the MLL Lacrosse franchise Denver Outlaws out here. He put good people in place, and the Outlaws owe a lot to his generosity and guidance when they were just starting out.

Ownership of the Broncos may not be so clear in the coming years, and I hope for the franchise's sake that it is clarified quickly.

Alzheimers is a terrible heartbreaking disease

So hard on the family. But also hard and frustrating for those afflicted.
