So to make things more interesting.....Imposters was a really fun show and the creators clearly didn't see the end coming because season 2 ended with what was clearly the start of a new plot line. Too bad.
I know the movie Serenity was supposed to tie up loose ends, but it felt forced and constricted from what was going to be a far reaching and long lasting show.

Sports Night was a real favorite of mine that I would've liked more of. Anyone remember Terriers with Donal Logue? Nothing earth shattering, but I liked it and wish it'd lasted longer. Sons and Daughters was a very short lived sitcom that I thought was hilarious and should've lasted longer.
they had to wrap up the show in the 3rd season because of some tax laws in Florida, so it was rushed as hell and I am sure it would have been more interesting to go down the rabbit whole they were on.

Poor reading on my part. I’ll go with The Wire.
Outside of Paulie and Patsy, aren't all of the main mob characters dead at that point? Sil is in a coma, I think.
Good call. I thought that show was the best of the Terminator stories after the original movie.
Sarah Connor Chronicles
I’ll add
7 Days
Star Trek TOS
Sopranos
This is my answer.
Another good choice
Would have loved to see what came next for Duane's brother cousin.
Oz.
Then Firefly
Lost (to clean up the garbage that was the Finale/Last season)
YES! THIS x 1000
Not well known, but I enjoyed that show.
No, the question was about GOOD shows
That was a good show that was done in by the writer's strike. That premise did have a lot of potential when it was killed off.
Dare Devil
Luke Cage
Jessica Jones
DD and Jones got three seasons, and Cage only two. I would have liked a lot more from each. Iron Fist? Nope. Didn't mind its cancellation.
Firefly was my first choice, but it was already mentioned.

Can't believe that only lasted two seasons.

They had a good cast and a nice premise. Ashamed they shut it down.
Another good one was SOUTHLAND. Strong ensemble cast with multiple story lines.
