NFT: sweatproof headphones/earbuds recommendation needed

davek3698 : 6/19/2019 1:59 pm
I sweat profusely from my face/head when I work out and have ruined several pairs already. Several knee operations keep me from running, so I get my cardio done on the eliptical machine. It has a stand to rest my phone on, so I am open to wired or wireless sets. Anyone found one that holds up well? TIA.
I wear these every day while working out

And I sweat profusely. Even wear these in the sauna. They have been excellent. Sound is great. Battery is more than sufficient and case charges em quick.

Outside in Florida and have had the same issues. I have the jaybird x3 and have had no problems and the x4 are certified waterproof.

I know I shouldn't but I figure they'll have ways to fix my hearing by the time I needs to cross that bridge. How is the volume on them?
I sweat profusely as well

and found that the big, wireless buds are knocked out when I'm wiping my forehead with a towel.

I have a pair of wired Panasonic ear buds. The sound is really great and I've used the same pair for over a year and a half. They also fit very comfortably.

I'd recommend the PowerBeats

They sound good and have hooks to ensure you don't sweat them off/out of your ears if the sweat is that much of an issue.

I had the PowerBeats 2 but now stick with my Apple AirPods. I've worked out with the AirPods and they have not fallen out, but I don't sweat a ton either...

I use Aftershokz Trekz Air

bone conduction headphones. Nothing actually goes in your ear.

Audio quality is pretty good all things considered, probably not as good as high end buds. But, they are great for the gym. Since nothing goes in or covers your ear, listening fatigue is minimized.

Elite Active 65T

Completely wireless. I have the regular Elite 65t and they're great.
I use Anker... I like the magnets...

I play then about two notches from full on my iPhone and they are plenty loud.

I was listening to Van Halen 2015 Remaster this morning and was amazed at some of Michael Anthony's base lines coming through that I had never heard in the past. They really are a great pair of buds and stay in my ears even when jumping rope.

They blow away AirPods. Not even close race in my opinion.
There's probably several now but early on I tried many that failed

these have been awesome. I bought several now, even had the 800 model (tho don't like those as much)

Sweat like crazy so got IPX7, used them for anything - jump rope, stairs etc - very comfortable aside from a few different size buds. Power has been pretty much fine for me, tho I admit I always have 2 charged in my gym bag. The oldest pair is easily 4+ years out. Comes in a handy little zipper case. Solid sound quality and volume

I think I got it a little cheaper on groupon, but under $30 these are awesome
