much like our talk re: NYK. Also I'd likely keep DR over replacing him w/ Kyrie unless it was a pkg deal. Seems like similar value, but I'd err on the younger, much improved home grown guy (at this point). Both have had their locker room issues, but at the moment DR fits this one, why rock the boat?
I like Irving, and he's the better player, but not so much better to let a 23 year old all star walk.
I'd rather add Horford or Harris to the current group and save money to go after Porzingas next year.
Or if Kyrie is coming with 1 of those others guys and they think he can play with DLo (they'd have to trade Dinwiddie, but they'd get something good for him so I have no issue with that).
RE: I think Kyrie may very well be heading to the Lakers Â
When he asked to be traded from the Cavs, it was because he didn't want to be 2nd fiddle.
Water under the bridge. He's a weird dude so anything can happen, but Situations for him to play on a championship contender are drying up and I bet he sees the laker scenario as his shot.

I'm not sure how reliable a source Rozier is, but based on his latest quotes sounds like Irving basically disregarded games plans and took things into his own hands.
Kind of defeats the purpose of having a coach like Stevens, and certainly didn't mesh well with Brown and Tatum.
The Celtics were literally better without him -- that's cautionary at the least.
He's a fantastic scored, he genuinely is, but as C's fan I'm not devastated he's leaving.
I’m in the seeming minority that thinks they should sign them both.
Russell and Irving are both individually better defensively than Lillard and McCollum. The idea that it can’t work because of defense, yet Dame and CJ can go to the WCF Finals proves it’s wrong.

Well, with AD there he’ll be third fiddle, so maybe that’s ok? :-)
Besides, being 2nd fiddle beats being first banjo on the street corner.
