I think Hunter is the safest pick in the draft to be good, but Barrett has better upside. Higher floor or higher ceiling. Picking this high you have to make something happen. I like the pick.

Barring a trade, the Cavaliers are focused on Vandy guard Darius Garland with the No. 5 pick, league sources tell ESPN.

but it's clear he had the most potential of anyone on the board (definitely not as much as Zion, maybe more than Ja). It really does come down to if his jumper improves or not, because the rest of his game is already set-up perfectly to thrive off of him having a strong jumper.

He's got that crafty lefty game down to a science already and he's what 19 years old? Very impressed by how crafty he is. Now he just needs to get stronger and get a jumper.

I didn't know Corey Brewer was a top 10 pick. Decent player but that's rough compared to his teammates Horford & even Noah pre-injuries

He plays nothing like Paul George. Billups has some weird comps.

KP situation sucked. Right pick, crappy ending. I think that possibility of what the team would have looked like from drafting & building says a lot too. I might be crazy but I think Barrett has a higher NBA ceiling than Zion. Zion’s college game revolved around beating up on a bunch of undersized or unskilled big men around the rim. He doesn’t have any range shooting the ball. He doesn’t have the build or athleticism to create like a Giannis, Lebron, or Kawhi.

Barrett on the other hand just seems like one of those guys who ends up being a better pro than college player.
