Two over the top dream season scenario poll..

mpinmaine : 6/24/2019 9:18 am
1. Eli beats the Patriots in the SB period.

2. NYG meet the browns in the SB and our safety peppers tackles OBJ a few yards shy of the end zone on the last play of the game to secure giants 4 point win.

I know it's out there, but I can dream can't I?
Respond if you feel like it, feel free to offer up any other tom foolery for a slow week..

I don't have a stake in the Browns team. I am, however, looking forward to the termination of the BB/TB union.
I'll take either

Peppers making an impressive open field tackle would be nice, the clips I've seen of him in that regard look pretty scary

another giants/patriots super bowl would be amazing. Thats the one chink in TB's resume, is his two losses to the Giants in the Super Bowl.

What better way for Eli to ride off into the sunset than beating TB one more time?
would be nice

For Eli to beat Rivers in the superbowl. Got to find a way to beat them once in his career
I had similar thoughts a couple of months ago. Now, I'm not thinking

boldly about this team. I'm looking for progress and development of our younger players and draft picks. A winning season would make me very happy.

Daniel Jones takes over for Eli around game 5

Or Eli beats the Colts. I believe that is another team he has never beaten.

As for the Browns scenario, that will never happen; Beckham never makes it all the way to the end of a season. Plus they would not get to the Super Bowl if they are counting on Beckham in the playoffs.
Any scenario wherein the Giants reach the playoffs
BlueLou'sBack : 6/24/2019 12:11 pm : link
and then go on to win the Superbowl with Eli at QB is a dream ending in the best possible way. I don't give a damn if the opposing QB is Brady, Rothlesberger, Rivers, or Luck or any other.

So long as we knock the Cowboys out of the playoffs on the way...
It's funny to come across this thread

as I almost started one Saturday morning because I had such a VIVID dream that the Giants won their 3rd SB with Eli Manning as their QB. In the dream I can't exactly recall who they defeated but in the back of my mind it felt like it was the Patriots and the Giants were wearing their white uniforms. I remember the broadcast crew going wild over the win and how I was pre occupied and upset I had to miss the post game interviews and celebration.

Anyway, that was my dream and boy did it ever feel real!!!

Will Hernandez suffers a concussion but that miserable old horses ass Shurmur makes him keep playing, leading to a lapse that gets Eli injured. This forces Jones into the line up. He's been catching up on his Vonnegut instead of his playbook (bc athletes can be *sensitive* too, ya know?), but wouldnt you know it, Jones is the goods. People quickly forget about Eli. Even Abbie, whose dessert-themed attempt at seducing the rookie is ultimately unsuccessful (remember, sensitive).

Jones leads the team on a run, and even gets Saquon some TDs bc Shurmur is a racist prick, too. Speaking of which, it all comes to a head in week 17, and following a confrontation in which the team chases Shurmur out of the locker room, Eli takes up the playsheet and coaches the team to a second half comeback over Dwayne Haskins led-Skins, leaving him free to host playoff bowling parties that go down in DC social history. Giants secure a wildcard spot and the following week theyre trounced by the Rams to the tune of 23-0. Which somehow manages to give people more hope for Jones because, hey, remember 2006?

opening against Dallas and losing is getting old.

2 things I always wanted to see. Subway series, Yankees win.

Giant/Jet Superbowl, Giants win.

And I'd want it to be Jones, not Manning, because that would be fucking hilarious.

Good and big dreams. No issues with them but I think we can alter it a little.

- Instead of Peppers making the game saving tackle how about Xman chasing Beckham from behind and that Peppers jumps on.

- Would be a great sendoff for Eli but I think we need to incorporate Daniel Jones in there too to set up for the future. Maybe have Eli suffer a slight injury sometime in the season and Jones plays lights out but Jones get's hurt in the Super Bowl and Eli comes in down by 4 and throws a touchdown to Golden Tate.

Jones signs Dak to a 10 year 350 million contract

Growth of young players and team improvement. That said, growth was all I was looking for in 2007. In fact until the last minute or so of the Super Bowl, that is still all I was looking for. So....

I got one! The Giants win their 5th game before week 16. Leading up to an amazing opportunity to win their recently unprecedented 6th game in a year.

I am not bitter about Odell. Eli knocking off the immortal Bill & Brady for the third time is 3LIs ticket to Canton.
My dream scenario is one of the 4th round picks are a hit

Conley really looks like a shut down LB. Ge may be able to rack up 10 taxkles a game with our dline getting all the blockers
Two scenarios
giantstock : 6/29/2019 1:20 am : link
1-- Giants sweep the division and humiliate the Cowboys in the playoffs so badly that Jerry Jones decides to retire.

2-- In the same season Barkley and Jones set NFL records for rushing and passing and in the playoffs so badly obliterate the Patriots in the SB that Tom Brady and Belichick decide to retire acknowledging a new dynasty from someone else has arisen.

Okay how about if I add the following?

1-- Giants sweep the division and humiliate the Cowboys in the playoffs so badly that Jerry Jones decides to retire and sell the team to an enthused owner in James Dolan.

Better?
