ok, you culinary experts out there. I went to my fridge the other day and found the following. Pizza dough, an opened can of tomato sauce, pepperoni, spinach, ricotta, mozzarella. My wife and I have somewhat differing tastes. What did I make for dinner tonight?

This is the perfect answer given the clues... except of course it could be the pepperoni pizza for the wife and the spinach-ricotta calzone for you, if you take away the sexist leaning.
BA HA HA!!!
It isn't like he had a fridge of kippered snacks, buttered popcorn, boursin and durian.

hey, I suck at Chopped. It wasn't real creative, but I got rid of a bunch of shit at the same time that I'd be tossing in the trash next week. And I never do boar bennies outside of breakfast. So yes, the winner is calzones.
Isn't that suppose to be bad to leave opened cans around - refrigerated or not?
I thought I was told to use the entire can or transfer content to another container and store it wrapped in plastic wrap or aluminum foil?
Could be mis-informed I suppose.

Of course it isn't! No one in their right mind would place buttered popcorn in the same fridge with durian...
