my favorite season is now my least. I hate having to put on sun protection every time I go outside. The summers are much hotter than they were when I was a kid. Summer destinations are always too crowded. Bugs, weeds, humidity.
Fall is the best. Football, hockey, baseball playoffs, food, great seasonal beers, fire pits, cooler weather, kids back in school...ahhhhh.

Well said. unless you have a $100,000 oasis for a backyard, summer is a useless piece of shit.

I hate summer too, but the climate used to be more extreme around here, winters were more brutal and less snowy and summer had frequent heat waves. I remember brutally cold Dec football games in the 80s.

Nice swimsuit, eh?
Me, I've long arrived at the age where if I see a gal like that one at the beach, I'm scanning to see if her mother's there too and how she's holding up.
oh, it was fine today. Did it even hit 110? Otoh, it was her fat grandmother who was at our pool today.

I don't have a pool. When I was in Anthem they had a nice community one. Water parks don't really seem that popular here either like in NJ.

You don't think I'd invite her fat grandmother to my own pool, do you, lol? I was at our community pool.
Isn't it often one of our greatest fears that our wives will turn into their mothers?
