last yr's kids looking like they got a jump on the group. Mitch, Zo too
Three threes is nice, good to see he's got his shot early. Trier his usual aggressive self and making plays. Great to see. I'm hoping Barrett realizes he doesn't have to try and save the franchise and just plays his game as time comes, no rush.
Haha those were the worst free throws I have seen in a long time. The one early thing on Barrett that I did not realize is he is nowhere as athletic as I thought. I had not really seen him play a lot.

Barrett and Knox are both still teenagers. I would expect both to still add more strength and explosiveness.

Yeah these 5 minutes of play is really showing how unathletic he is!!!!!!!!

Yea really unathletic on the reverse layup while getting fouled...
I realize that people are tuning in to see Williamson Â
and maybe Barrett, but the breathless swooning for Zion is a bit much. We can see how he's doing, you don't need to hype him. And it would be nice to acknowledge that the Knicks are dominating the game, and that there are other players on the floor.
But he’s silky smooth, has good size, and he can get up. I just love his footwork and touch near the rim, he’s just so advanced in the way he scores near the rim. But that outside shot needs to improve.
Blake Griffin is a comp I see for Zion often, and I’ve made it before too. But the way Zion can explosively drive to the rim from the perimeter is something Blake could never dream of. He’s gonna be so fun to watch, just praying that 285 lb frame for a 19 year old can last.
RE: Interesting to hear RJ is trying new stuff on his corner 3. Â
When you do that, you take a step back to take a two steps forward. I'm good with that.
That's fine, always start w/ the 'easier' shot / play
But they really should start from scratch (really every rook if not all players). FTs & Js in the paint. Then move out further and further. Not to say you never practice distance, but start w/ easy ones and nail down the form. It's not easy, but it's simple & repetitive to work on. The 'right way' if you will

Agreed on both
Barrett is in the NBA because of NBA skills w/ an NBA physique at 19. He's not an uber athlete, but he is plenty athletic for this level, and can ball with the best of them with his skill set
Seems like RJ is just lo key right now. As they said, there's a slew of year 2 guys taking the reigns, which is actually good in terms of just letting him acclimate vs forcing him to produce or play a certain way. He has the game for this too, IMO doesn't have to be the scorer but still provide solid value (Esp if he focus on his D). Still work to be done no doubt...
Not sure... Watching on ESPN

Playing very aggressive. Good to see on day 1, esp for a 'shooter' (he's not Steve Novak & not all he does!)
You want ugly free throws? Iggys got ugly free throws.
Sit him, no more SL. He's ready lol
It'd be nice if they showed the game instead of showing the balls on their phones...

He needs to increase his in game stamina. Let him play
#16 PG has made a few nice plays, decent looking J too. Is it Hinton? Not sure who that is
That Dunk was sweet.

That was sarcasm (see 'lol')...But I'm with you
Trier's shot looking prettier (not just the makes, J looks smooth & controlled)

This promises to be hilarious, as the ESPN team spends the next hour talking about a guy who is not playing and won't be playing tonight.
If it quiets Doris Burke for 2 minutes, it’s worth it. She must be related to Tony Romo.
Almost everyone we complimented ran out of gas or went cold at once
