My wife surprised me with a trip here next week.
I have never been there, so any rec's regarding restaurants,
tours, things to do or avoid would be appreciated.
Thanks.
is a must. Don't drive. I learned my lesson. Their drinks were strong and crept up on me. Driving at night on the opposite side of the road after dinner and drinks was interesting.
has a number of excellent restaurants and shops. Its off of Seven Mile Beach and easy to get to. Also, "Decker's" for seafood. Very good. Great island. Super clean and a great long beach. At one point I went with my wife and kids for eleven straight years. One of my favorite places but difficult to get to quickly from Tucson :(...Have a great time.
We have been to Portugal 3x in the last year and it is always we have to go see this.
She new I wanted to sit my (_!_) on a beach trip.
We live in Miami but I need a change of scenery.
Thanks for the tips.
Had the best time at Stingray city -- booked my cruise through Captain Marvin's -- really fun dudes running that. Don't bother with Starfish Point -- hardly any remaining starfish and really nothing there.
I stayed at Beach Suites on Seven Mile Beach and loved Tillie's, the oceanside bar and grill. Good happy hour as well.
Love that hotel and Island -- going back in August for my 3rd time this year.
Went there on my Honeymoon... stayed on 7 mile beach at the London House Condos... this thread made me search the London House and apparently it is still in operation and has some great reviews...
following thread... has me thinking on a return to London House for our 30th..
question for those who frequent Cayman... Is there an Uber or equivalent? Just for the left sided driving coming back from dinner after a few drinks type of a situation.

Have yet to visit Portugal, but I've read a lot abkut it ajd seen a cew shows about it. I've since been saying I want to retire there.
on Grand Cayman. It was quite good and one of the only ones where weimed the atmosphere. We sasat outside. I had a delicious turtle dish;it tasted somewhat like steak.
The only problem was the next day we visited the turtle farm. We realized that was how they were able to be lwgally allowed to serve turtle on the island.
We bought a condo in albufeira.
I may retire there as it is very inexpensive.
The summers are extremely touristy.
I rent my property out when i am not there.
It pretty much pays for itself.
If you are serious send me a pm....i can tell you what
not to do.
The country is amazing. If you like medieval history, there
are endless places to go.
Didn't see much else to do there except maybe lay on the beach.
