Trainmaster : 7/6/2019 12:55 am
Yesterday’s is now considered a foreshock.

Stronger and longer shaking at my house, north and west from LA.

doesn't get left unsaid, Just 70 to 75 actual miles from the epicenter down in Bakersfield oil has been pumped from the ground for some 120 years and many have concerns over that.

See also the well publicized concerns In Oklahoma over the seismic activity there in regards to gas and oil drilling.

Oklahoma was caused by fracking not pumping oil. Fracking is the process of injecting liquid at high pressure into subterranean rocks, boreholes, etc. so as to force open existing fissures and extract oil or gas
I would hope they would not do this in California.

And a couple of potential foreshocks? Probably should take some precautions.

the issue in oil production in conventional (frac) plays is not the drilling of horizontal fracs, but the water injection, withdrawal and disposal. jus sayin'
Felt it again here in Las Vegas

Florida. Not if but when you'll get hit by a hurricane. Same with the majority with the country with siesmic activity. Yellowstone basin is due to explode again.

Mother earth will do what it damn well wants to when it wants to.

safe everyone.

An eruption from the Yellowstone caldera is very unlikely. A major earthquake along the San Andreas fault is much more likely. But the greatest threat is still probably a Carrington Event.
Time for the magnetic poles

to reverse also.

Agree the odds of a quake on a fault line are much greater than Yellowstone blowing.

Problem in talking about 100's of thousand of years between events taking place, being off 20-50,000 years or so doen't matter.

Earthquakes are caused by one tectonic plate riding up on another. California was having earthquakes long before they were pumping oil.

I’ll stay with the hurricanes at least you can see them coming and prepare
