I remember seeing every one of those plays...

was there in person for some too. I agree that a few do not belong on the list.
Man an I pumped up or what?

Great highlight reel. Got me fired up for some NY Giants football. Can hardly wait for September.

That unreal play, Sehorn's pass break up, batting the live ball upward, jumps up, catches that ball and brings it home for a TD. Incredible, incredible play.
mrvax - agreed
Cenotaph : 7/8/2019 1:42 pm : link
My 1st thought on seeing that Sehorn pick was damn, he could do some amazing things, before injuries hit him...hell of an athlete

Loved watching the Pierce play against GB where he blows by/through 3 OL to stop the RB on a screen pass...which otherwise was going for a big gain. Been a while since we've seen LB play like that - not TD or turnover but still a huge, great football play.

Also, I was young at the time, but that Giants D crushed Montana a few times huh?
i disagree

with the Norwood miss being in there

no one on the Giants did anything

I disagree. It's the top 30 moments and that was a huge moment.
ahhhhh--
bluetothegrave : 7/8/2019 4:08 pm : link
My god damn alergies acting up again while I watched this. Love this team too much. Too much. I remember every one of those moments. Its so incredibly good to watch those moments again.

I then had to watch the 2007 season wrap up and playoff run after that, office door closed, volume turned up. Magnificient..just magnificent. Road warriors extrodinaire, smiting all our enemies in their homes and doing it with such physical play.

We miss a guy like Brandon Jacobs. He would punish...punish defenders. ..(just don't had it to him on 3rd and 1 for some reason..lol) Lets hope this group has what it takes to rise up again and get us to the dance once more. I need more to cheer about in my life besides my kids.

The entire Giants' defense kept his attempt to a 47 yarder. If he had made it, it would have been his longest FG of that season. Norwood didn't have a strong leg. That's doing something...

Dixon returning opening kick for TD against the Eagles. I've been to a lot of Giants games, that was the loudest I ever heard that stadium get, ever! Can anyone think of a time it was louder? Y'all agree?
Eli to Manningham
Leg of Theismann : 7/8/2019 6:53 pm : link
in 2012 NFCCG. That's probably my personal favorite Eli moment of all time. What a gutsy throw given the circumstances. Eli had the crap beaten out of him all game.
What about Armstead
Leg of Theismann : 7/8/2019 7:00 pm : link
returning the INT for a TD to tie the game and reverse momentum in SB XXXV, the turning point in a game the Giants ultimately go on to win and...

oh, wait.

+1
Great video

As an older guy, was great hearing Pat Summerall and John Madden calling the play by play on some of those.

His best throw ever. Maybe not best play but his best throw.
The Craig fumble should be higher.

That game was over if we don't get a TO there.
Lots of great moments of team plays but still think
Jimmy Googs : 7/8/2019 9:23 pm : link
the Pierce recognition and tackle of the screen versus Green Bay was just individually masterful...
I would have squeezed Kevin Boss's big catch
BlueLou'sBack : 7/8/2019 11:33 pm : link
and run vs the Pats in XVII as one of the plays, myself.

The way Pierce weasels his way right through 3 blockers on that play was like a Jedi mind trick.

It was a great play but did not belong on the list. It happened early in that game. It was not as impactful as many other plays in our playoff history.

The pass to Hilliard in the Vikings NFC championship did not belong either.

No I think it was very impactful. Remember the Packers were a powerhouse that year. If he doesn't make that play its 14-6 Packers and who knows maybe the flood gates open. Keeping the score tight was key especially in a game that went to OT.
I would've
Zepp : 7/9/2019 1:28 am : link
flip flopped #1 and #2 because without the Tyree catch there is no Burress TD. So I'd put the Tyree catch as #1.
Some Thoughts...
Rong5611 : 7/9/2019 7:25 am : link
- The '86 Team was the best Giants team of all-time.
- The '07 playoff run was truly the most amazing series of games I've ever seen the team play. And, they beat the undefeated Pats to cap it off. Doesn't get any better than that.
- Eli's best game ever was the playoff game against the 49er's during the 2011 run.
- I wish Hakeem Nicks and Steve Smith didn't get hurt.
- Best playoff games (non- Super Bowl) - 1990 Season, vs. 49ers (NFC Championship). 2007 Season - Lambeau.

Agree as to the above. Great watching these highlights. Seems like more on D and specials than O, but that was the Giants in those days, esp. in the '80s.
