When everyone is healthy (and happy, as the case may be), this line has all the potential to be a top-10, even a top-five, unit.
Makes you start to wonder - if these lines are as good as everyone says, or if they've benefited from going against the Giants DL (and the rest of the NFC East) 2X a year.
Do we really have that many elite OL in our division?
Considering the crap we've been trotting out there for way too long... Â

IMO, Yes. Smith and Williams are arguably top 3 LTs and probably top 5 at worst. Peters has lost a bit, but is still above average, maybe even top 10.
Lane Johnson is one of the top RTs in the league and a very good LT when he moves over.
Kelce is arguably the NFLs best C and a healthy Frederick isn't far behind (if he gets back to that level).
Zack Martin is a top 3 G in the NFL and a healthy Scherff is above average as well.
First Team All Pro Selections (since 2013):
Smith: 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018
Peters: 2013, 2014
Williams: 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017
Johnson: 2014, 2017
Kelce: 2013, 2017, 2018
Martin: 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 (1st or 2nd team every year of his career)
Frederick: 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017
Not helping ohamamma or whatever his name was out with double teams gets him a pass for pass blocking. I felt he liked lost in pass coverage last year along with our RG.
From never playing center to starter says a lot. The coaches love him, a future Pro Bowler (Hernandez) on his left and top-five type (Zeitler) on his right, I think Pio's ready to shine.
What's also interesting is WASH #14...

How can that article state that a line with Ereck Flowers at LG has the potential to be a top-five unit??
That's a significant step up for us!
